I just recently downloaded Xcode 3.2.6 for my computer. When I got it installed, I opened it up to find that the iOS SDK was not installed. Why? Do I have to download it separately? Is there a place for me to download it instead of re-installing Xcode?
I did some research, and saw this, but can not remember if I saw the iOS SDK to install. I think it only said Xcode Toolset.

I have installed xcode v8.3.2 and trying to integrate good sdk v3.1.0, but I am unable to do so. When I went through release notes I found that this latest version will not support to Xcode 8.3 and later versions. But one of my colleagues is able to use the latest version of good sdk with Xcode 8.3.1 without any issue. How can we resolve this?
As you need to install Xcode and good sdk in the applications folder on the system. This is the way it worked for me.
I made my first app using PhoneGap, and have built it for iOS. I have Java and Ant properly installed and the XCode project has been apparently created. I open it in XCode and I can build it as well, from XCode. When I run it it says that error message? What seems to be problem here? Thanks guys!
Your xCode version is too old. Probably you updated the phone's OS to a newer version. Usually for each version of iOS there is a version of xCode, and if the OS is newer than xCode you get this error.
I can't use playground. It shows this error : Playground execution terminated because the process stopped unexpectedly.
All I did was installing iOS 9 simulator by downloading it with terminal and copying it manually to where it was supposed to be and clicking download on preferences to install the downloaded file because I was not able to download it normally.
In other topics my problem was mentioned and the solution was restarting Xcode and mac, I even removed Xcode and reinstalled it using a dmg file instead of installing it by mac App Store which I used to. I tried it and I still have the issue. (My Xcode is not a beta version.) Is it just me in this whole mac community who has this problem and there is no solution ?!
Thanks
I was searching for the answer to this question here but couldn't find anything. I had an issue before with GM version of xcode and would like to find out what is the procedure to do this. I have XCode 4.4.1 install from the app store and i would like to install 4.5 GM. Is the only way to have both installed on the machine or its possible to upgrade? Does it make sense to delete 4.4.1 and install GM version or just wait a week and xcode will get updated automatically.
I just don't want to install this one and then have to reinstall when the app store version comes out because then upgrades will be installed through the app store.
Thanks in advance!
You can install the AppStore version (4.4.1) and the beta version (4.5) side by side without any problems. Just download the beta from the developer portal and it will install as "Xcode45-GM".
how can i update the sdk version that I have in XCode 4.1 (sdk v. 4.3) to IOS SDK version 5 (the latest one) without having to download XCode 4.2 and install all over again ?
In short I do not think its possible. You have to download the relevant dmg and install on your machine. While installing you can give the option of upgrading.
i have just come across this issue. go to application and delete install xcode, then go to app store and download xcode again.
