Jailcoder with SDK 6.0 - ios

I am new to iOS. I was installing latest XCode with SDK 6.0 in it. I have been successfully testing my app developed using SDK 6.0 on simulator. Now i want to test it on real device without developer program account. To do that, i use Jailcoder. I have an iPhone 3GS, with AppSync 5.0+ installed. I have tried "Quick XCode Patch" and "Patch My Project". However i still get signing error. It said,
CodeSign error: code signing is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'iOS 6.0'
Seems it due to iOS 6.0 SDK that has not been supporting jailbroken devices. I need some hints and workarounds to deal with this error.

I had same problem with a jailbroken iPhone 4S, solution above didn't work for me.
So for anyone else running into the same error message:
JailCoder does work on XCode 4.5 + Mac OS 10.8.
As an absolute noob I was missing the step 8 from this guide: Developing for a Jailbroken iPhone A to Z:
...link the device and computer. Plug your iPhone in and open Xcode.
Open Window>Organizer. Select the device from the list on the left
hand side, and click “Use for development.” You’ll be prompted for a
provisioning website login, click cancel. It’s there to make
legitimate provisioning easier, but doesn’t make illegitimate
not-provisioning more difficult.

By default, Xcode requires iOS apps to be signed. However, there is a plist file that Xcode uses, where you can change this. You can tell Xcode that code signing is not required.
Check this file:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS6.0.sdk/SDKSettings.plist
You can edit it on your Mac with the Property List Editor application.
Make sure that in that file, CODE_SIGNING_REQUIRED is set to NO. You'll probably need to do this each time you install a new iOS SDK (e.g. 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, etc.)
You can find out more about this on the BigBoss website here. BigBoss is one of the popular Cydia repositories for distributing jailbreak apps and tweaks.

Is it possible to run projects on real devices using Xcode 8 without enrolling to Apple's Developer Program?

Its not every time we create a real Xcode project, sometimes we need to create project for R&D purpose also. And to test a R&D project sometimes we need to use real device. But I'm unable to run a R&D project on real devices in Xcode 8, whereas in Xcode 7 or Prior to Xcode 8 version we can.
Is there any way to to run test projects on real device without registering?
You can do it over the wire, i.e. you can install it directly from Xcode but not via submitting it to TestFlight etc.
To install into device, directly from Xcode, you would still need to have a developer account with Apple - to get developer provisioning profile and certificate. W/o developer account, even installing directly from Xcode is not possible.
Also, Xcode 8 support for devices start from iOS8. Any device prior to iOS 8 is not supported.
Well, the below link is for Xcode 7, but am sure it should work for Xcode 8 as well.

Also, it expires after 7 days. So, the app should be installed again manually within that period.

xcode ios App "The application could not be verified"

I'm developing a app with the latest xcode. I configured xcode
to "don't sign" to install the app to my iphone without a developer account.
It was working fine, until i updated my iphone 6 to ios 8.3.
I removed the app from the phone, restarted it, did a "clean"(in Build-Menu),
but same error.
Also i havent changed the project settings in xcode.
There is a no solution for this with this xCode version,
because Apple restrictions.
I installed xcode 7.0 that allows installing apps without developer account to iphones/ipads, solved my problem.

Bypass Code-Signing for iOS Test Dev - XCode Version 6.0.1

I'm pretty new to the Xcode environment and I'm trying to test a iOS App I'm building.
I'm running XCode 6.0.1 with a non-jailbroken iPhone 6+, running iOS 8.0.
Unfortunately, I do not have a Dev Account as yet, but my iOS simulator is ridiculously slow (and for some reason massive on my screen), making it hard for testing.
I've already tried the solution from HERE with no luck, but changing the STRINGs to NO.
I have also tried to change the following project settings (found here), as seen here, with no luck:
Is there an updated method around this? Or am I forgetting to do something?
Unfortunately, you can't. According to Apple's Documentation on iPhone certificates - iOS/iPhone certificates are only issued to members of the iOS developer program.
Those are the only two options. Without a paid developer account you won't be able to provision your device to run your app, and without jailbreaking your device you can't use the JB-enabled ways (whatever they are) to install your app on your device.

Building apps that will run under ios7 from xcode 4.2 ios 5

Extremely new to the xcode / ios world, so I apologise in advance .....
My dev machine is an old mac-mini running Snow Leopard and xcode 4.2
I have built an executeable that I want to put on my ipad, which is running at ios7.
In xcode, I did all the provisioning stuff and I see the following message :
The version of iOS on "Daves iPad" does not match any of the versions
of iOS supported for development with this installation of the iOS
SDK. Please restore the device to a version of the OS listed below,
or update to the latest version of the iOS SDK
I'm not sure I can ( or want ) to do either of these things. As far as I know xcode5 won't run on my machine, and I don't really want to downgrade my iPad to ios 5
Am I missing the point? Should I expect to be able to run ios5 executeables under ios7? If I should, how do I get them on to the ipad?
Yes, you can run iOS 5 executables on iOS 7, but you can't run a debug session on an iOS 7 device from anything older than Xcode 4.6.3.
I think the best you're going to be able to do is to build the app, package it into an IPA, then install it on your device and run it from iTunes.
You can create .ipa file from xcode, here is the link. But before that you should have installed provision profile for app distribution. Your testing devices should be listed there in iOS Provisioning Profiles (Distribution) on Apple Developer Member center -> Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.

xcode 4.5 wont let me debug on ios 5.1 device

I recently got a new dev machine and downloaded the latest xcode 4.5. It came with IOS 6 only so I went and got sdk 5.0 and 5.1 from older xcodes.
The device im testing on in running ios 5.1 and I'd like to keep it that way for the moment.
In my project settings I have base sdk set to ios 5.1.
The trouble is that when I try to debug on my ios 5.1 device xcode complains that I need to connect an iOS device with a recent enough version of iOS to run my application.
How can I solve this problem?
You can surely run your app on a iOS 5.1 device when using Xcode 4.5 - I am doing that at the very present moment.
Have you checked in Xcode organizer if your device is configured for development? Go to the Organizer (one of the top-left icons), select your device from the lefthand list and click on "use for development" (if available).
Hope this helps.
I have xCode 4.5 like you and I have an iPod Touch 3G 5.1.1 which works perfectly with iOS 6 SDK.
The SDK Number doesn't tell you that it only works for that firmware.
In your Project settings under targets you can define the sdk, not the sdk you build with(this is 6.0) but youcan tell what the minOS is
Try restarting with your 5.1 device plugged in.
My iPod 5.1.1 is provisioned and has been used for development. If I choose the scheme "iOS Device" Xcode 4.5.2 refuses to run, telling me "Xcode cannot run using selected device". However it does work when I set the scheme to "robert's iPod" (or whatever). This choice doesn't show up right away when I plug the device in, and sometimes I seem to need to quit and restart Xcode and/or iTunes (or reboot) in order to see it.
