XCode & Facebook IOS SDK - Instructions incorrect - ios

I am following this guide.
http://developers.facebook.com/docs/mobile/ios/build/
For setting up the Facebook IOS SDK for my XCode project..
I got to the part that says to run
% ~/facebook-ios-sdk/scripts/build_facebook_ios_sdk_static_lib.sh
in the terminal..
I tried that and it didn't work, so i went to find that script file manually and it isn't in the folder specified.. My questions is am i missing something? or does anyone know if the file was renamed?
Thanks.

You're right, this script is not included in the newest version on github.
However you can download the SDK and use it as described in the "Getting Started" section - Start a new Xcode Project. So far I had no issues with the SDK 3.0 and ARC in my project.

That script is there in my instance. Is it possible that the facebook-ios-sdk directory isn't in the top level of your home directory as in /Users/yourusername/facebook-ios-sdk? It needs to be there for you to follow the instructions verbatim.

'Branch.h' file not found Xcode error for Ionic 3 app

When I am trying to build my Ionic 3 app in ios device from Xcode, I am getting the following error.
'Branch.h' file not found
The error appears in file BranchSDK.h inside the Plugins folder of IOS.
There are old threads on Github regarding this error but I am unable to solve it.
Please try following solution:
Please make sure that you are opening xcworkspace instead of xcodeproj.
Please remove the existing SDK integration, start a fresh and make sure to use the latest version. You can follow this link for more details:
https://github.com/BranchMetrics/cordova-ionic-phonegap-branch-deep-linking-attribution/issues/356
Delete derived data from Xcode as suggested in this link.
Config.xml is an important part of your project configuration, please make sure to cross confirm it from the Branch Dashboard. Please follow our troubleshooting guidelines to make sure you are not missing anything.
In case following solution does not works for you please write to support#branch.io.

"Could not locate google-services.json or GoogleService-info.plist files" iOS Project, Unity, Mac Computer

I've been trying for the past two hours to figure this thing out! So I already created a project within my Firebase account; an iOS project. Downloaded the google-service-Info.plist files.
If I click Import New Asset and attempt to search for the file.. can't added it like that, I have to drag it into my folder.
I'm aware that the file must be put within the root folder (which I have done many times now), but I still encounter the same error message.
Could not locate google-services.json or GoogleService-info.plist files"
I removed all the Firebase files (SDK), re-installed them,.. same thing..
I also deleted the GoogleService-info.plist file and downloaded a brand new one, same thing!!! enter image description here
I'm currently using Unity 2018.2.1f1, My computer: macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.6
I have same problem.
Add IOS and Android build component for Unity. Switch to the platform Android. It resolve you problem.
Check SDK status. See in screenshot below:
This happened to me right after adding a GoogleService-info.plist to a project that only had Android support before.
Doing Assets -> Reimport All also worked for me to get past this error.
In my case I missed the step where you generate those files on Firebase.
Generate them from your Firebase console by clicking the Unity icon in your project overview page. See more complete documentation here

Why am I getting 'Braintree/BTUICTAControl.h' file not found error on Braintree manual integration?

I get the following build error after implementing step number four "Add the Braintree SDK code to project" from the Manual Integration Without CocoaPods guide.
braintree_ios/Braintree/UI/Braintree-Payments-UI.h:3:9: 'Braintree/BTUICTAControl.h' file not found
Tested in
New Objective-C iOS app project.
In Xcode 6.1 (6A1042b) and 6.3 (6D543q)
How can I fix this build error?
I work on the Braintree iOS SDK.
I believe using the name Braintree instead of Braintree SDK for the framework target name will resolve this particular issue. I recently updated the manual docs accordingly.
We recommend that you integrate using CocoaPods if at all possible, as it handles all this complexity for you.
Note also that I've responded on the issue you posted on GitHub. Let's resolve this there. Thanks!
Have you tried manually downloading the zip file and not using git?
Try following the second bullet point from the first step.

Integrating Facebook Docset with Xcode

So I downloaded the latest 3.1 Facebook iOS sdk and under the scripts I found a build_documentation.sh which I ran. It completed and generated a com.facebook.Facebook-SDK-3_0-for-iOS.docset file. I am trying to get it to integrate nicely with XCode. I know that apple docs can create documentation that shows up in the quick help panel. My own custom documentation works great.
Does anyone know what I have to do to get the same kind of documentation integration with Facebook?
EDIT:
I tried adding the docset to the corresponding folder according to the instructions here
and restarted Xcode but it didn't work
If you install the SDK from the package you don't have to generate the docset yourself.
Go to https://developers.facebook.com/ios
Click on the Download SDK button
You can get the Facebook Documentation working with the following:
Build the Facebook Documentation with the provided shell scripts
Move the .docset to /Library/Developer/Shared/Documentation/DocSets
If it doesn't work, you may have to check, if you moved the docset to ~/Library/Developer/Shared/Documentation/DocSets. This is sometimes WRONG
Why does it work by installing the Facebook Framework directly from the .pkg?
It moves it to /Library/..., not to ~/Library/...

Building Facebook With Latest iOS SDK for ARC and Multiple Developers

I'm attempting to upgrade from Facebook SDK 2.0 to 3.0 and I'm having basically the same issue as is mentioned in this thread: XCode & Facebook IOS SDK - Instructions incorrect but with a slightly different goal I think.
I'm using the instructions here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/mobile/ios/build/
When I try to build the static library, I get a "no such file or directory" message. I checked, and sure enough, there is no build_facebook_ios_sdk_static_lib.sh file in the "scripts" directory when I try to execute it.
Here's my dilemma. We have multiple developers on the project (and some other members who basically know how to pull down and build within Xcode but that's about it), and I don't want to require all of them to install the Facebook SDK. Same for a build machine (though in that instance I suppose we could install the SDK directly on the build machine).
It sounds like building a static library has been effectively deprecated, or maybe I'm missing something, but what I really need to just get all the pertinent code into our repository, and in a form in which anyone can just pull it down and build. Is this possible with the 3.0 SDK, and if so, what would be the steps to do that?
Thanks!
For the Facebook SDK 3.1 (latest from 3.0) you should not follow the old instructions, instead check these instructions out:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/getting-started/facebook-sdk-for-ios/3.1/
