BlackBerry Internet Service for third party (non-native) apps - blackberry

I have developed a small j2me application that communicates to the server and converted it to the .COD for BlackBerry devices. It doesn't run on my BIS connection, how do I run that app on my BlackBerry device over BIS connection. I have heard about Alliance program with RIM as its solution. How do I register for that and are there any alternatives to that program?

Is MFi required if I am using "Lightning to USB Camera Adapter" with external USB device

I have my developed external device which I can connect with linux PC using USB port. Now I want to develop an iOS application that communicates with this device to read/write some data. I am planning to use "Lightning to USB Camera Adapter" and EA Framework to connect to external device. Do I need MFi for this purpose?
If this is not the right way, what should i use?
Thanks in advance.
A device that connect to the adapter is not MFi. You need the MFi Program only if your device is directly connected with the lightning/30-Pin port. And about software that communicates with MFi accessories, the FAQ of Apple answers :
I want to develop an iOS app that communicates with an MFi accessory. Do I need to join the MFi Program?
No. iOS app developers do not need to join the MFi Program. Everything app developers need is in the External Accessory Framework, which is provided in the iOS SDK. To access the iOS SDK, please join the iOS Developer Program: https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/.

Do I need to have a BIS or BES service in order to use MapField in the code?

I am trying to learn about MapField in Blackberry and I need to know that wheter I need to have a BIS or BES service in order to use MapField. I can use the MapFiel while using the simulator but when I read some forums I saw some people wrote that people need to have BIS or BES to show the MapField. Is it true or not ?
Thank you all...
You need to have a BIS conection, so you should run the MDS emulator to have the BIS server emulation on your computer, this will work for your mobile simulator. The MDS emulator can be downloaded at blackberry official web page at developement tools.

How to make support for both App World and the application being embedded?
What is the difference between OTA and App World?
If I will build applications for the web and will put a link to the Internet (eg via apache)
It will be OTA ?
How much is the official service OTA or App World?
Please give references for which I can read this issue.
OTA means "Over The Air". There are several ways of getting the app code installed on a BB device. One way is via USB cable + BB DesktopManager app, for instance. When you are talking about OTA and App World as if they are different things - this is not correct. The fact is to get an app from the App World you'll have to use OTA implicitly (you'll start the BB browser, it will make a remote request to RIM server, etc. - this means OTA is used).
I believe there is no difference on how AppWorld and your custom server would do this.
RIM provides a video tutorial on this:
