iOS - Animation - Image coming out of circle - ios

I have a situation where I want an animation that look like image is coming/pop out from the object or another image having a circle. I know how to make image that coming out of rect but here I have a circle. Situation is like, someone pops out of window or say chick/bird coming out of egg.
Any help or suggestion or direction would be highly appreciable.
Thanks.
Edit: Here I attach the image, egg is background, when I tap/touch a egg, boy coming out of the egg with animations.

You should have three different images for the above example:
One for the back (inside) of the egg
One for the guy coming out of the egg
One for the front (outside) of the egg
Then you would put all three images in that order (bottom to top) so that the part of the guy that is behind the third image is hidden. Then you simple animate the position of the guy image up to make it look like he is popping out of the egg.

Swift / SpriteKit: How to create a water drop effect?

i wonder how the following effect could be made in Swift (SpriteKit).
I think about adding some ShapeNodes and fill them with the background image with -yscale 1.
But i think this effect was made somehow different, because the background image isn't just mirrored horizontally - it also has some graphics effects on it (it is mirrored in the shape the water pearl has and so on).
Was it done with a ShaderNode?
Does someone has an idea how i could create a same effect in SpriteKit - like water pearls which looks like they are on the "camera" and they mirror the background "waterpearl like"?
Thank you.
Hmm well you could create a bunch of water images and have them displayed randomly on the screen at some z position, however I think this effect was made in another program like unity or something of the sort, Your best bet is to create transparent water droplets as images and have them displayed randomly on your screen.

Camera Overlay Image Is squished on iPad

So it seems that because of the menu bar on the right hand side of the gui, the overlay I'm adding is being squished. The image I'm getting from the artist is a square, but once the overlay is applied inside the camera it is no longer square. What do I have to do to get the image to be applied for the whole screen, or what must I do to get the square to appear as a square in my app? Any ideas about how to get over this problem would be appreciated. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Sean
I thought this was an Xcode issue, but it turns out I was subtracting 100 from the width because of a problem I was previously solving. Sorry for wasting your time on this one- the problem was in my code.

Custom shaped buttons objective-c

I'm building app for kids with lots of interactive image objects (click on pic & get result)
For example: I have cat on my screen and with click on it I need to produce sound.
After having read lots of info I got the idea that it's almost impossible to transform certain parts of image to clickable objects.
While there are lots of games on the app store which contains lots of custom shaped clickable objects. How did they manage to do this?
What I need read to get the answer? Thank you in advance.
UPDATE: I can have my clipart images as vector-graphic, e.g. .svg file. Will it make the situation simpler?
Implement each image as a UIButton and set the background of each button as the image desired. (setBackgroundImage)

https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/UIKit/Reference/UIButton_Class/
Using images is one option, but if you want taps within a certain non rectangular shape, check out OBShapedButton
If you really want super accurate touches, you could construct a bezierpath in the shape of the image then use
[UIBezierPath containtsPoint:]
https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/uikit/reference/UIBezierPath_class/Reference/Reference.html#//apple_ref/occ/instm/UIBezierPath/containsPoint%3a
You could also possibly get the pixel colour underneath the touch, but that wouldn't give much room for error if the user tapped near the edge:

ios frosted glass logic

Frosted Glass Effect
I'm thinking of how to approach this logically..
So we take the background image ( for example )
Then, we want to add our frosted glass button to this image. Here's how it should look..
Now I know I cannot programatically blur the background image of the button, so I'll to try and do it with two images.. Background.png and Backgorund_Blurred.png.
Now, the frosted glass effect will happen on animated objects. So, as they move across the screen, it should appear that it is blurring the background image behind it, however, to achieve this I can only think of one way. But doing so is beyond my current capability.
It would have to be a background_blurred image for the UIButton for example. No scaled in any way, and the exact same size as the normal background. Then, I would have to take the buttons relative position on the normal background and append the background_blurred of the button to suit.
My first question; is this possible?
Second question; is there an easier approach?
Lastly, I've added an image to make sense of the relative position theory.
Check out the FXBlur library, it'll let you blur images/views.. I've used it successfully and sounds like it'll do what you want.
I think having two images for these assets maybe easier, but having the views blur may be better in the long run as you wouldn't have to worry about updating the images for different resolutions in the future or care about how big the button is/will be.. Also if you want to do this with more images it'll turn into a mess with all the different images to manage.. The library is simple to use, with one call you'll have a blurred image/view..

UIImage sliding indicator size

I have 2 UIImage's one on top of another and the top one slides and reveals the coloured one. The issue is that I want the indicator (purple line, which is a view) to indicate in the left side only by the end of the image (image`s background is clear).
What I want is to resize that purple line so it wold be visible in the left side and on the image but not on the right side, as it is now.
Any ideas of what I can try ? I have no idea where to start, thank you!
What I did so far:
what I want:
It is possible to implement programmatically using CGImageCreateWithMask, but it is very hard. Also such solution will be not very fast, if you want to do it in real time.
I offer next solution: create 3-d image, as shown below. That picture must be a white mask, which will limit your line. Place that picture above pic 1 and 2. Pink line should also be placed below that picture.
Sorry, if I wrote something unclear.
Thanks kelin, the idea that you gave me was interesting, but I did not had time for that, so I found another way of doing this. I used a third image for the mask witch is an image with the lady`s shape cut off and a white background but only in the right side of the picture (the left half side image and lady shape is transparent), and the line crosses on top of the pictures shown previously and under the image I added with mask...
Simple and efficient, and it uses way less memory for a real time displaying with an animation .
