UPDATE:
it was a problem with the settings on Facebook. I just deleted the iOS app settings and everything worked.
I've implemented ShareKit with my iOS app without any trouble. Followed all the steps of the installation, including the SSO part for Facebook.
When pressing the Share button, I can send as email or tweet.
Facebook worked once and now it stops. I authorized the app the first time and was able to share. I then removed the authorization from Facebook and when pressing the button on Sharekit, it says "saving to Facebook", switches to the Facebook app, and then back to my app with the "There was an error while authorizing" message.
I tried with two different Facebook accounts. any idea where to look for problems?
Thanks
Unfortunately the original ShareKit from Nate Weiner doesn't get frequently updated. Maybe you should check out ShareKit 2.0. I didn't have any problems integrating it in my app. At least Twitter and Facebook where no problems, that's all I use for the moment.

We have integrated login with twitter using Firebase. We have followed all the steps as mentioned in https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/ios/twitter-login
However when we call that method a webview is opening in iOS instead of Twitter app. Is there any way we can force to open the app if app is installed? I have already added twitter and twitterauth to LSApplicationQueriesSchemes in the Info.plist. But none works. Any suggestions will help us. Thanks
There is a similar question asked here but no answers, so asking again Firebase login with Twitter account is opening browser instead of the Twitter app
I am stuck with a situation that I have implemented Branch.io iOS SDK not and generating a link for sharing. But I am facing an issue that if the app wants to share that link on Facebook, in that case, it is giving an error that "There was a problem sharing your link".
Apart from direct sharing from my app if I try the with direct facebook app then facebook blocks my post by giving reason that this link is blocked due to security reasons.
Please help me out.
I have a kiosk app. I need users to login to post on facebook and immediately after posting force the facebook account to expire or logout.
In my understanding, I though couldn´t use the Social Framework of ios 6 because doesn´t work for the login/logout of many different users because it´s attached to an account in the settings of the device. So, I used an old code Facebook of Andy Yanok prior to ios5. Everything works perfect, except that so far I am not able to logout the session, after posting. At the moment I am looking for alternatives, maybe with the ios facebook SDk or inside the facebook app. I have cero experience with facebook apps so I have no idea if that is possible.
So, I would like to know if someone has experience with implementing facebook on an ipad kiosk. And how can I perform log-in window, posting and logout in the easiest way. If this can be done with the fb sdk or which is the fastest alternative.
If the facebook app is the option, please explain with detail , like I said I have very little experience making facebook apps.
Thanks!!
Ok the solution I used for this was to use the same Facebook code I already had and add some additional code to the log-out in the Facebook.m to delete the cookies. I found the code to implement here
I am building a Parse driven iOS application and am having some strange issues with Facebook login. Upon initializing my facebook permissions, I am asking for #"email" and nothing else. The login works when the user does not have the facebook iOS application installed on their device - and authenticates through safari (or another web browser). When the user DOES have the facebook iOS application installed and tries to grant permission to my app, the following error is displayed:
I have read through multiple tutorials and related stack overflow issues, and have yet to figure this one out. I tested this out with both an older version of the facebook SDK and the brand new one (3.5). Neither of those solutions appears to work. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you kindly.
Try with both #"email" and #"basic_info". This is currently documented on the Android side, but not iOS, which is weird - https://developers.facebook.com/docs/howtos/androidsdk/3.0/native-login/
I have followed the example of Facebook SDK for iOS (Hackbook) and it works well however whenever the person is logging in the app takes take the person to Safari or the Facebook app (if you have it installed on the device). Is there a way I can call the permission without leaving the app.
Thanks
there once was. But facebooks says that you should use SSO (single sign on) with the official facebook app. So even if you'd modify the files of the facebook-ios-sdk, it would probably not work.
