I have installed monodroid and I am trying to build monodroid sample GLCube with VS 2010. I get a compile error for the following line in the CreateFrameBuffer function on the source. I am using latest Android SDK and Mono SDK (trial), and I am building for Android 2.2. Are these samples only meant for certain versions of Android Open GL? I just used the default platform of the sample solution/project file. Why won't the sample compile?
Line: GraphicsMode = new GraphicsMode (16, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, false);
Error: 'OpenTK.Graphics.GraphicsMode' is a 'type' but is used like a 'variable'
E:\Dev\xamarin-monodroid-samples-4d92f45\GLCube\PaintingView.cs
Apparently you have checked out the sample code from github after a comitter broke it.
I suggest getting an earlier commit, say, this one.
Not sure about this, since I have not actually looked at the code in question, but from the snippet you posted, and the error you are getting, it looks like you need to declare a variable to assign the GraphicsMode object to.
Ex:
GraphicsMode gmMode = new GraphicsMode(16,0,0,0,0,0,false);

I'm trying to get Xamarin.Android to generate bindings for a library supplied as an AAR. JAR2XML is giving me a lot of "can't find type" errors, so I thought I'd try class-parse, but in addition to some library references I'm trying to track down, I'm getting a couple of these:
1> Error while processing '[Method] java.time.temporal.Temporal adjustInto(java.time.temporal.Temporal temporal, long newValue)' in '[Class] java.time.temporal.ChronoField': Type 'java.time.temporal.Temporal' was not found. (TaskId:69)
1> Error while processing '[Method] java.time.temporal.Temporal addTo(java.time.temporal.Temporal temporal, long amount)' in '[Class] java.time.temporal.ChronoUnit': Type 'java.time.temporal.Temporal' was not found. (TaskId:69)
Now, java.time.temporal.Temporal is a new type in JDK 1.8, so I'm wondering if maybe that's part of my problem here (ie. maybe the types that can't load are using other new-in-1.8 types). Running bin\javac -version in the path specified in Options-Xamarin-Android Settings says I'm using "1.8.0_172". My project is targeting "Android 8.1 (Oreo)" - ie. api level 27. Is there some other option I need to set to make sure I'm using 1.8?
Hello,
My problem is that when i try to import an UDF in Ecxel 2013 I receive the error message can be seen on the picture. I have installed xlwings and it works except the UDF importing. Note that i used "xlwings quickstart myproject" so there is no problem with the file names and i also used the sample function so that should be fine as well
Thank you in advance for your help!
I currently don't understand why you get that error, but I should be able to tell you how you can work around it for now:
Open the file udfs.py in the xlwings package and remove the last argument on line 36, i.e. remove , ArgumentDescriptions=argdocs.
The intended functionality of that line (showing function argument description) is currently broken anyway (see here) so hopefully this will be resolved in a future version.
I'm using TSAPFunction to connect to SAP with Delphi 2009.
Everything works fine, I can use some BAPIU like (RFC_READ_TABLE, BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, etc...).
I'm trying to use HU_CREATE_GOODSMVT_RFC but it doesn't work.
If I try to add functions from OCX I got this error "Could not add functions"
When I try to add it from this code :
FormClientSAP.SAPFunctionsWork.Add('HU_CREATE_GOODSMVT_RFC');
I tried with this code too :
myIFunction:=FormClientSAP.SAPFunctionsWork.Add('HU_CREATE_GOODSMVT_RFC') AS IFunction;
But my function isn't added (FormClientSAP.SAPFunctionsWork.Count = 0).
I try with and without UNICODE components.
I've checked in SAP and this BAPI is RFC enable. And from SE37 I can use it and it works fine.
Can anyone can help me to understand what is wrong?
Thanks for your help.
I am trying to compile jabber-net in Xamarin Studio so I can use it in a Xamarin.iOS app.
From other searches I have done I am told I need to recompile the source.
From command line I can build the dll, but I have no idea what version of .NET/Mono this is targeting.
This makes a jabber-net.dll and a jabber-net.dll.mdb.
If I add jabber-net.dll to my project, add the reqiured
using jabber.client;
...
...
...
JabberClient client = new JabberClient ();
and try to compile I am told.
/Users/brad/Projects/XMPPChat/XMPPChat/AppDelegate.cs(37,47): error CS0584: Internal compiler error: Could not import type jabber.client.JabberClient' fromjabber-net, Version=2.1.0.702, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=924c5b18328d6f09'
/Users/brad/Projects/XMPPChat/XMPPChat/AppDelegate.cs(37,38): error CS0584: Internal compiler error: Could not import type jabber.client.JabberClient' fromjabber-net, Version=2.1.0.702, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=924c5b18328d6f09'
/Users/brad/Projects/XMPPChat/XMPPChat/AppDelegate.cs(37,38): error CS0201: Only assignment, call, increment, decrement, and new object expressions can be used as a statement
I got no idea what is going on here...
When I try to open any of the .sln's (or include any of the existing projects, even the mono specific project) that came with jabber-net into my solution it will either hang trying to convert the project, or will tell me
The file '/Users/brad/Projects/XMPPChat/JabberNet-2.1.0.710/mono-jabber-net.csproj' could not be loaded.
and will spit out this error.
Any idea where to go from here? :|
Start a new solution from scratch, and add all of the .cs files except those in the test and examples directories. Also make sure you don't have an old version of the .dll around somewhere.
Why I try to run the following OpenCV program, it shows the following error :
ERROR:
test_1.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0x80000003).
Click on OK to terminate the application.
CODE:
#include "cv.h"
#include "highgui.h"
int main()
{
IplImage *img = cvLoadImage("C:\\face.bmp");
cvSetImageROI(img, cvRect(100,100, 100, 100));
cvAddS(img, cvScalar(50), img);
cvResetImageROI(img);
cvShowImage("Test", img);
cvWaitKey(0);
return 0;
}
When i press F5(im using vs2008express), the program encounters a break point...i have attached a picture...dont know, whether, it will help or not.

It is not that, only this program is producing this error, but also any kind of image manipulation funciton containing (OpenCV)program is resulting in this sitution.
Such as : cvSmooth
one last thing, it there any dedicated OpenCV forum or sth like that?
I am an administrator.So, yes, ive the permission.
a version mismatch.
sorry, i didn't get it?Version mismatch with what?
But, i have found the error using dependency walker.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export
function in a delay-load dependent module.
and also found that, it is a common problem, and found some info in the FAQ of DW...
Why am I seeing a lot of applications where MPR.DLL shows up in red under
SHLWAPI.DLL because it is missing a function named WNetRestoreConnectionA?
I also get a "Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to
a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module" message.
Function name : WNetRestoreConnectionA
But there is no guideline about how to solve it. Though, they say, it is not a problem.
i googled a little and found a suggestion.It says,
Turn off your compilers setting to assume you are programming for Win9x.
(I just lost which setting but it is not that difficult, use a #define...)
But i have no idea, how to do that in Visual Studio 2008 express.
Any suggestion how to solve it...
This usually indicates a problem with a dll; either you don't have permission, or a version is mismatched. Try running as Administrator to see if it is a permissions problem. If that doesn't help, try using the Dependency Walker.
