World Pay Integration with MVC3 - asp.net-mvc

Does anyone have any example code for integrating with WorldPay using MVC3? Specifically posting the XML order to WorldPay. I have googled all the way but couldnt find the relevant information .

WorldPay uses a pretty simple REST API. Their developer documentation, which I think contains C# examples, should be all you need.
MVC doesn't change how you'd interact with them. The code would be the same with a Silverlight or Windows Forms application.

Sharepoint Online Development

I am a developer with .net.mvc, angular background. We have some application developed in mvc, angular.
My question is
1. Recently my company want to do the development on share point online(not on premise). I want to develop an app either in angular\MVC which can be deployed and accessed from share point. The app basically calls one of our on premise database displays in a grid. It also involves some crud operation.
Can anyone suggest any ideas for this.
Tried reading through some sites but doesn't helped.
Create SharePoint provider hosted add-in so you could use MVC project web template(a .net MVC project), so you could develop based on your existing .net knowledge.
get started
You could host provider-hosted add-in(MVC web) in azure.

Hey Sorry Your question is getting attacked but I believe I have an approach for you.
Normally youd be able to just create a server side webpart but since you are online you wont be able to use MVC and will need to leverage front end solutions or the SPFx Framework.
If you want to go a more pure javascript route you can create an Angular Application like SPJEFF has done. He has built an Angular App that leverages the SharePoint API and runs inside a content and media webpart that you can embed into the page. Please see his blog post for more info. https://www.spjeff.com/2018/12/25/video-angular-2-cli-todo-list/
Your next option is the SPFx route. Its pretty mature for the online community and constantly updated. Heres a quick read on why you should use it. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/spfx/sharepoint-framework-overview
Please message if you have any questions.

What is the best way to include comments in my ASP.NET MVC 3 project?

In Wordpress, I can enable wp_comments to show the commenting system.
I want to write code so that whenever I write comments in HTML markup, it calls my comments written codes.
How can I achieve this in ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET web forms?
There are several ways to add comments to your ASP.NET MVC 3 web project.
1. Develop a comments section within your application
If you wish to create bespoke commenting functionality for your site, this article gives you a clear walk-through on how you can achieve this.
2. Integrate third party comment service into your website
Alternatively, you could use a third party service like DISQUS and integrate it into your app. Here's a link outlining how to do this.
There's no 'out of the box' commenting system for ASP.NET. Also, you can't really compare the ASP.NET MVC Framework with Wordpress as they are completely different.
Since you have specific functionality (outputting HTML markup), I'd recommend option #1.

Windows Workflow Foundation 4 and ASP.NET MVC

We are evaluating Windows Workflow Foundation 4 to use in MVC 3 based Web Applications. We would like to create flexible order workflows for different projects.
Does anybody know good information about the general architecture or hands-on-labs for this kind of application?
Some concrete questions would be:
how can you activate a specific controller/action from the workflow?
what is the best way to communicate between the workflow and the web application (events, wcf services, ...)?
This is a nice article on how to start working with WF4 in your ASP.NET MVC app.
Integrating a persisted WF4.0 workflow with mvc
Another example with video is at below link. (Note: The code attached in the link might not be executable, but it will give some concepts when you study the code and watch the video)

This link is showing how we can preserve the data between requests using tempdata. Since it is a large explanation, I am not repeating the same again here.
Sadly, the videos for this seem to be down but the docs seem to try to show you a way!

Simple solution to integrate PayPal on ASP.NET MVC site

There are many solutions/products that PayPal provides for websites to integrate with PayPal payment. I would like to know what's the simplest or easiest solution to integrate PayPal into ASP.NET MVC web applications. Which solution I should use? It would be helpful if someone who had the done this before can share his or her experience. Thanks.
Recently I implemented a PayPal 'Buy Now' button in a ASP.NET MVC Razor view. In the end the button is just a HTML form that is posted to the PayPal website. However, it took me some time to find out which hidden form fields were required, and which optional fields I could also use to further configure the payment process. I have published my experiences on my blog: http://buildingwebapps.blogspot.com/2012/01/single-item-paypal-buttons-and.html. There you will also find the source code for an MVC Html helper method that makes rendering single-item PayPal buttons less work.
Integrating PayPal with MVC is not your issue. Integrating your ecommerce checkout process is the hard part. PayPal has a very nice pre-packaged assembly you just need to reference and your basically done.
My main point is that your technology stack isn't what you should be focusing on here. Instead learn the PayPal API and how it fits into your existing codebase.

Telerik controls in ASP.NET MVC

Telerik claims their controls work with ASP.NET MVC now. Has anyone already used the controls in a MVC project?
My company uses the Telerik ASP.NET controls in a large application and it works out quite well. That's why we think about using them in a MVC project.
EDIT 1:
telerik has a new go at ASP.NET MVC this looks much better then their first go at it. But it was to late for my project. http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-mvc.aspx
You could check out the demo application (a forums application) they built using ASP.NET MVC, announced here. Source code is available.
The demo is a simple- and stylish -
forums application. It uses 9 of the
RadControls, including RadGrid,
RadEditor, RadChart, RadTreeView and
RadUpload, to build a forum site that
has basic thread/post navigation,
formatted forum posting, user
authentication (with support for
custom avatars), and a site activity
"Statistics" view. Everything you need
to have a fully functional MVC forums
app. The source is available for
immediate download, so I encourage
anyone interested in learning more
about MVC or the RadControls in MVC to
grab the bites and study the example.
You may have already seen it, but Telerik has a blog post about how to use their controls with MVC and some of the limitations. I don't actually use their controls so I can't speak to whether the limitations are really a problem. It does appear that there is a a little more "manual lifting", so to speak, when using the controls with MVC but that there are workarounds to get most of them to work properly.
I'm hoping that they will eventually release MVC versions of their controls. I'm holding off evaluating them until that happens, but if you're already using them I'd certainly look to see how easy they would be to use with MVC. Perhaps you could update your question with an answer if you give it a try and let the rest of us know how it went.
I have been using the Telerik controls for about 6 months. I have been using the Grid and Window controls on MVC 2. Like most commercial products there are issues we have been fortunate to work them out. Once you get past the initial learning curve the controls are time savers. You can't beat the price for the amount of functionality you get.
My biggest issue is that they seem a bit sluggish responding on their forums. Maybe I'm just asking lame questions. I've been lobbying management to pay the $ for the supported version. Considering the amount of time we spend digging around to solve some of the more complicated problems I think it would be worth it.
I've just had a look at their grid and wrote a small POC project with it and must say I'm quite impressed. I'm not sure about their previous MVC controls iterations, but the current one can be a real time saver. It also fits very nicely into ASP.NET MVC ajax applications since there is a rich client-side API. Having jquery DataTables on the client side results in an even better user experience (because it is much faster), but also requires more error-prone javascript code.
As an alternative, you can check for MDBootstrap (it´s a front-end framework built on top of Bootstrap). There you will find an article with free ASP.NET MVC templates.
