I'm currently integrating Open Feint X in my iOS project, with a custom store, trying to synchronize data between OFX servers, to download new contents... and all I have to do it is their sample application, with no comment, and a very basic API...
Would anyone have some clues to give, maybe a useful link that Google did not reveal to me, or anything that could help me to understand which functions I should call and where ?
Thanks,
Grhyll.
EDIT: They are currently working on a doc. However, I've managed to make a few steps further, so if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask here, and if I can I'll answer...

In my app so far, I have to implement all the Twitter posts from a certain individual into a table view, and it automatically updates when the person tweets a certain post. Is it possible to mention a certain individual e.g. #John.. If it is possible, how can I do it? If not just let me know and I will delete this question as it could be too ambitious. Thanks!
I don't quite understand what you mean. I do a little!
There is a quick and easy way of doing this! One easy way is to use Twitters own SDK called Fabric. See Here
See this link for the timeline stuff and integration to your app Documentation
This should help you out!
P.S. Let me know how you get on!
I use to be able to get to Google Code Playground page.
As discussed in
A guide to Google Code PlayGround
Its a web-based tool that lets web developers try out all of the APIs that Google provides, tweak the code, and see the results, I found it very useful.
But now when I try, I get redirected to API Explorer!
Has anyone got any ideas why?
Thanks in advance.
I don't know why they changed it, but probably you will need to go to the specific API/product you're looking for and search there.
For example, I used to teach the Visualization APIs with the playground, but these seem to have been reclassified as a chart "product" with the interactive code editing now hosted through JSFiddle:
https://google-developers.appspot.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery
Good luck (re)locating what you're looking for.
Looking for good solution for Twitter login and posting something... but there is no idea for now. How to do it in xamarine( IOS mono has complete solution, but monodroid...) help me please, if somebody knows how to do it.
If you just want to post something then you can easily do this by sending an Intent for use by an external app - e.g. see https://github.com/slodge/MvvmCross/blob/v3/Plugins/Cirrious/Share/Cirrious.MvvmCross.Plugins.Share.Droid/MvxShareTask.cs#L19
If you need a more complete solution then libraries like Tweetsharp have had MonoDroid ports/branches at various times, but I don't know the current status of any of these.
You might also want to take a look at Xamarin.Social. This component will let you tweet from your Xamarin.Android application.
I'm trying to find examples of code libraries or sample code for adding a commenting functionality in my apps. I've successfully implemented the Disquser iOS wrapper (http://bit.ly/iadisquser) in a couple of my apps but find it difficult to manage. I've seen other apps that incorporate a commenting feature that's cool, including theCHIVE Lite app, that looks like its using Facebook maybe?? Any hints or suggestions?
Look at QuickBlox Custom Objects code sample. I think it's what you need.
It represents user's notes, which he can create & comment. So, you can implement this comments logic into your apps and comment any item you want
There's a good tutorial for building a chat app that may help you get started, you can find it here: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-ioschat/index.html
Just curious if there is an existing storyboard version of Facebook integration around because I've been googling for about 2 days. So far, I can do authorization for my app and what I have in mind is to try posting a simple status message perhaps from my app to my Facebook newsfeed. Most of the demos / tutorials I've gone through use xib's though such as this. This one is a good tutorial, however I want a storyboard version for this. Tell me if this post is a dupe and kindly post that question so I can study it.
I know there were a lot here that know the idea of sharing :)
So any helpful links were very much appreciated, as it will, in a way, boost my learning experience as well as the others who are starting iOS development :)
Thanks!
If you wish to simply post a status update you should be able to use the same examples that are shown in nib files. However if you want to see a sample app that uses story boards you can take a look at this sample app:
https://github.com/fbsamples/ios-social-cafe
It uses story boards to set up the UI and perform facebook login. You can also check it out to see how to use the new UI pickers (friends, place) and how to do open graph actions.
If you have more specific details around how you want to post a status update, please provide them so I can clarify further.
Yes, there is a simple example of an iOS app using Storyboards (iOS5 and later): https://github.com/fbsamples/ios-social-cafe
Hopefully that's helpful and shows how to do a good authorization flow with Storyboarding.
Good luck.
