It sounds like the simulator you have is buggy or corrupted. Try installing a different simulator - you can grab them from here.

Building iOS app with Xamarin and Visual Studio 2019 - Error Wrong Version of Xcode installed when it isnt

I am trying out Xamarin on the Mac. I have an oldish Mac that DID have Xcode 10.1 on it.
I tried to build the iOS app and got the following error:
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error The Xcode version installed on the Mac (10.1) is not compatible with this version of Visual Studio. This may cause unexpected warnings or errors when building and deploying iOS projects. Please install Xcode '11.3' or visit the documentation to learn more. 0
I upgraded the Mac to Caitlin and upgraded Xcode to 11.3.
I can connect to the Mac and actually can run the iPhone simulator with the app, however, if I run the build, I STILL get the same error, like its not figured out how to update itself?
I have done the 'forget this Mac' and even renamed it on the network in case there was some legacy in a file somewhere.
I have dumped the solution and created a new one from the templates and still get the same error ... hair being torn out...
It might be one of those things that just goes away after a while I don't know. Any ideas?
Thanks.
EDIT * I realised that I wasnt clear. I am running VS2019 on a PC connecting to my Mac.

Delphi iOS Simulator error message 'Session ended'

I am trying to run iOS Simulator from Delphi having setup the following needed configurations:
I am using mac with Parallel Desktop for my RAD Studio virtual machine.
I am using Delphi 10.1 Berlin.
Already installed an XCode and running.
I have my command line tools.
I have platform assistant and running in my mac.
I already created my connection profile using the IPAddress and port given by PAServer.
Installed SDK for OSX and iOS in the SDK Manager.
I have no problem running my OSX on my Mac.
The only issue I have is my iOS Simulator is not working. Here'sscreenshot of the error message.
I swear I checked the recommended troubleshoot procedures several times but no avail.
I hope someone help me get through with this. I already spent the whole day searching/troubleshooting this connection.
Many thanks and cheers!
There is a Hotfix for 10.1 Berlin called "30680_rad_studio_10.1_berlin_hotfix_11_jan_2017". It should be available for download from your EDN account under "My registered user downloads".
You need to copy the files from this zip archive onto your Mac in the PAServer-18.0 application folder /Applications/PAServer-18.0.app/Contents/MacOS. There is a readme_en.txt with a detailed description.

Xamarin downloading and updating error on MacOs Sierra VM

I have a MacOS Sierra VM on VMWare and I'am having problems to download from the Xamarin repositories.
When I first installed Xamarin on Mac, I did the manual install of all downloads from xamarin because the installer gave me an error.
I need to update to Xamarin.IOS 10.4.0 but it gives me an error on automatic installer and I cant download anything.
The manual installer on this page: https://store.xamarin.com/account/my/subscription/downloads
don't show the Xamarin.IOS 10.4.0 version that I need, the last it shows its 10.3.1
Im new on Mac Os but I have internet on my VM and I don't know what to do.
Any ideas?
Any help is worth. Thank you.
I found a manual installer on this url:
https://dl.xamarin.com/MonoTouch/Mac/xamarin.ios-10.4.0.123.pkg
I installed it whitout problems. I dont understand why this link isn't on: https://store.xamarin.com/account/my/subscription/downloads
i found it by myself.
The automatic installer of updates still dont working but this resolve my problem of the Xamarin.IOS 10.4.0.123 version.
Use Xamarin Studio for updates. Even if it fails to complete downloads, you can find all those URLs later in ~/Library/Caches/XamarinStudio-6.0/TempDownload/index.xml.
I also have problems with automatic updates and all the links to the latest versions are almost always missing on Xamarin's Downloads page.

windows sdk 8 installation error 2753

I am trying to install the sdk for windows 8 on windows 10 pro and am getting an error 2753.
I already tried to run "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" but it didn't fix my issue.
I need that sdk installed in order to work with another api.
you can find the log here

Cheers
If you're still having this issue, it went away after I installed the Windows 8.1 SDK first.
I encountered the same issue. However, I found a solution to the problem. The error message was: An error occured while installing « Application Verifier For Windows ». Error code 2753. I relaunched the installer and when I had to select the features, I unchecked Application Verifier For Windows.
The installation was then successfully completed. Hope it helps.

BlackBerry Eclipse Plugin Device not Found issue

I use BlackBerry Eclipse plugin for my development. From today it shows some problems. The problems are listed below.
First I try to run my project it dont response for some time and shows the message
Refreshing connection on send 1 Cancelling refresh - pending
then i run the clean.bat file for clearing simulator. After that showing the error
Device is not found in the BlackBerry SDK BlackBerry JRE 5.0.0
Now the simulators not found.
Any one faced similer situations? Now what i can do ? can i install required simulators only? Or i install Blackberry JRE 5.0.0 Agin?
please help me.
Thank you
You should install simulators only because sometimes when we run clean.bat file then we get this type of problem. Install the simulator and run the application. Enough.
