I have a optiontransferselect and the left list box has a couple of values. When I try to move the values to the right .the button doesnt work. There is no error occuring when i click on the moveselect button .The values dont move either.
The issue seems to be with the value that is being assigned . If the value of list has something like this "19090-123242" , when there is a hypen and a 1 following , the javascript seems to take it as the -1 the headerkey value and does not move it to the other box. Its a struts bug.
I have a problem linked with s:optiontransferselect component of struts-tags. Buttons that allow move items right and Left don't work, but it only happen in Internet Explorer (IE7 and IE8). It works in FireFox and Chrome.
In my case I'm working with Ajax too and I have two .JSP files (one for main form and second only for optiontransferselect component) and I've included sx:div component of struts-dojo-tags in main.jsp to load list and dobleList optiontransferselect attributes based on value selected in s:select components.
Thats my pom dependencies, I don't know it it can help you to find out the problem:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.struts</groupId>
<artifactId>struts2-spring-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.1.6</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.struts</groupId>
<artifactId>struts2-dojo-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.1.6</version>
</dependency>
Thank you so much!

I'm using version 2019.2, coding XForms "manually".
I was looking at:
https://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/wiki/Custom_XPath_functions
and this:
https://github.com/orbeon/orbeon-forms/issues/764
I saw another Orbeon stackoverflow post (which I can't find right now), where the reply said that this should be available to XForms users.
The examples I saw looked simple enough, but they didn't work for me. I declared a "fake" namespace, and tried this:
xmlns:my="http://us/ny/state/otda/ddd/leaf/my
<xf:function signature="my:strConcat($p as xs:string*, $q as xs:string*) as xs:string">
<result value="string(concat($p,$q))"/>
</xf:function>
and
<xf:output ref="my:strConcat('one','two')" class="lf_inlineOutput" model="main">strConcat:</xf:output>
But I am getting the error:
XPath syntax error at char 25 in {my:strConcat('one','two')}:
Cannot find a matching 2-argument function named {ht tp://us/ny/state/otda/ddd/leaf/my}strConcat()
Should I be able to do this? Anyone spot a mistake above?
This is not yet supported in Orbeon Forms. See RFE #764 for details.
I use listbox with one frozen column. it's working fine but if i hide last (only last) column , i'll get problem with listbox's content. Header scrolls normaly but all rows of listbox appear.
ZK-8.5.2.1-Eval
I use olde frozen - listbox.setAttribute("org.zkoss.zul.frozen.smooth", false);
I'd suggest to try the latest version ZK 8.6.0.1 first? The release notes (8.6.0 / 8.6.0.1) indicate errors being fixed regarding frozen and listheaders maybe the problem doesn't happen anymore with the latest version.
It the problem still exists it would help if you can provide a reproducing/runnable example e.g. on zkfiddle.org Please, save and post the link or url-path here.
I am using primefaces p:autocomplete component (primefaces version 3.0), its working fine , but I am getting 2 issues with it.
First is when I am puuting p:autocomplete component inside dialog box ,and if a user gets suggestions after some typing keywords, it stuckes, neither we can type anymore nor we can use backspace .
Second is p:autocomplete component suggestions are case sensitive.But user should get always suggestions whether he didnt used capital letters.
As a e.g: if a name is stored in database as "John" with capital letter, but if a user type 'jo' with small case letter he should get suggestion as a "John".
How can I solve it?
I don't have a specific answer for your first part. Possibly a PF bug. Is it just the autocomplete that sticks? Does the whole browser hang? Are you able to use other controls on the page?
As for the case sensitivity, you would control that in your autocomplete method on the backing bean. If you want to ignore case, use .toLowerCase(), .toUpperCase(), .equalsIgnoreCase() in your compare.
The auto_complete_for dealio from script.aculo.us is great an all, but is there a way for me to selectively disable the fact that it always auto-selects the first item in the list?
The problem is that, if I want to type my own entry that is new, and novel, I don't want the first item in the list to be auto-selected. The reason is because when I TAB out of the field, it selects, and fills the text box with that first item.
I got around that, somewhat, by making the first item in the list the same as what I'm typing, but that's not perfect either, because the auto_complete list doesn't always update with every keystroke, depending on how fast I type. I've tried setting the list refresh rate to the lowest value (1 millisecond) but no go.
What I really want is an option in "auto_complete_for" that doesn't select that first item at all - the same way that Google Instant doesn't automatically select the first suggested search phrase - you have to arrow-down to select one.
Maybe I can do this via an HTML option that I'm missing?
Looking at the source, there doesn't appear to be an option for that, but I bet if you changed line 284 of controls.js to this.index = -1; it would do what you want.
Otherwise, it might be time to look for a different autocomplete widget.
If your requirements are too far away from the available plugin, then I guess there is no point in tinkering around. Its best to write your own JS code.
You might want to consider this: https://github.com/laktek/jQuery-Smart-Auto-Complete
or this : https://github.com/reinh/jquery-autocomplete
I'll add another alternative that works great with Rails 3:
http://github.com/crowdint/rails3-jquery-autocomplete
I recently implemented auto complete for more than a field for Rails 2.0.2.
The plugin I used is:- https://github.com/david-kerins/auto_complete . Not sure if it supports Rails 3.
I have also encountered issues on implementing the above scenario and have posted questions( Implementing auto complete for more than one field in Rails ; Implementing a OnClick kind of functionality and formatting wrt Rails Partial-Views ) on stackoverflow for the same, I have been lucky on getting things working for me based on my requirement.
Kindly refer to these questions, they might have relevance to your requirement.
HI,
I created 4 radiobuttons in a intraweb application.
One is checked by default, the rest is not.
The belong to the same group called group. (I set the group properly of each TIWradiobutton)
There is twiimage image which has click event. In that click event, I tried to set the radiobuttons.
E.g.
radiobutton1.checked:=true;
The problem is that this sometimes set the radiobutton and sometimes it does not.
I found a fix by setting the rest of radiobuttons.checked to false. That fixed the problem.
I wonder what I did wrong in the first place when I just used one assignment.
Can you tell me if it is a bug in intraweb or I used radiobutton improperly?
Thanks.
just create a IWRadioGroup1(in iwstanderd pallet ) in your form
select IWRadioGroup1 , in the properties panenel dblclick on items
you will get a stringlist editor ,type the captions of your four radiobuttons line by line then click OK
now select your IWImage1 ,goto click events just type th above code
procedure TformMain.IWImage1Click(Sender: TObject);
begin
IWRadioGroup1.ItemIndex := 2 // 2 is the radiobutton number as you typed in stringlist editor
end;
sometimes IW or components build over the IW (e.g TMS suite for IW) have a strange behavior.you can find how it works by looking out in the code, how they manage the java script behind your radio groups.
Also sometimes you must manage the components exactly how Atozed say in their documentation.
Probably isn't the best answer, but if you'll work a lot with IW you'll see that it has a lots of limitations and strange behavior (only if you don't work in their style, which sometimes differs a lot from win32 style).
best regards,
