I own 3 thinkpad 10 tabs (win 10).
I want to install diffent OS but nothing seems to work.
tried settings -> update & security -> restart -> if i boot from USB HDD i get secure boot error, if i reboot to enter bios device restarts but only get black screen... no logo no message nothing. just backlight open without any response.
Device manuals instructions: Shutdown and power on pressing volume up button. If i do that i still get black screen...
Any idea how to gain access to bios ??

I've seen this question asked and answered many times, but nothing has worked for me so far.
I'm using a Macbook Pro running Monterey 12.6, and installed Docker Desktop 4.12.0.
The application opens systematically at login, which I would like to avoid.
I have already switched off the automatic launching from the preferences menu.
This is my current configuration
I have also tried deleting the scripts from the LaunchAgents list with launchctl remove, but that hasn't helped either.
Has anything else worked for someone?

Docker >> Preferences >> Unselect Start Docker when you log in >> Apply & Restart

I am using oracle VirtualBox, my host is ubuntu 16 LTS and my machine is windows 7 ultimate 64bit. I'm trying to add some storage to my machine, but I couldn't find a way to expand the vdi file I currently use, so i tried to add another one, but the machine doesn't seems to recognize it.
Any suggestions?
It's not clear what you did to add a vdi file (a "disk") to your vm, nor what you did that you didn't see it where you expected. Adding a new vdi is the virtual equivilent of plugging in a new, unpartitioned, unformatted hard drive. In your Win7 vm, open control panel > admin tools > computer management > disk management. You should see a new disk waiting to be partitioned and formatted.

I've been doing iOS dev work for a year or two now, along with some Xamarin work on Windows and I'm looking for an ultimate dev configuration that allows me to get rid of my two machines and just use a Macbook with Parallels. However, I have a few questions that are still unanswered:
1) Use a real keyboard/mouse (I find working on Mac keyboard/mouse not quite as productive)
2) Have a Thunderbolt Ethernet connection (our wifi is not always the best)
3) Have an output to two additional monitors, which could show both Windows OS, both Mac OS, or one of each.
Is this too much to ask? Anyone else have this configuration? If so is there anything I should be aware of?

This is a question that is probably better suited to the Xamarin Forums. However, the set up you describe is one of the arrangements I use myself. The only difference is that I use a Mac keyboard. You should be able to use a PC keyboard perfectly fine but you may choose to remap some keys in the Mac preferences.
The only thing I can think of to be aware of is that while you can use nested virtualisation to run an emulator inside the Windows VM it will be significantly slower than running it on your Mac natively. As such, if you intend to code for Android, I would suggest running the AVDs on your Mac and connecting to them remotely from Windows.

I have created an application that works on Mac Os X that displays an HTML5 program in JQuery Mobile that I programmed using Fluid. I would like to program another version of this application that works on iPhone and, if possible, other iOS devices. I am trying to download Xcode, but the file is so large that my browser first says that it is going to take 14 days, then it just says "Cancled." And yes, I have tryed it with a stronger WiFi conection, the same thing happened. I heard that Apple start-up discs have Xcode on them, but I can't find any of them. Is there a substitution for Xcode that you can use to program iOS devices?
There is no substitute. Have you tried downloading it via the App Store?

I have an iPhone 4 and iPad 3 both running iOS 7.0.4 and MacBook Pro Retina running OS 10.9.1. I want to write a sniffer program, and have been trying to ARP spoof these devices, but their traffic does not seem to be appearing in Wireshark. I have tried using both arpspoof and ettercap for this spoofing, running each from both my Mac and a fully updated Kali Linux machine. I am certain that ip forwarding is enabled on both of these machines and certain that both are fully capable of this spoofing because it works fine on both when targeting a Windows machine on the same network. Are Apple devices just immune to ARP attacks? Is there something I can do to usurp this immunity?
