Processmaker - Cases Finish In Draft Folder instead of going to Inbox of next assigned User
After the next user is assigned and I click continue, it goes to the next user as set in assignment rules but instead of going to their Inbox it rather goes to participated and the status of the case is set to Draft.
I'm using the community version of the application. I'm not sure what is going on.

It is possible that the Processmaker Queue service needs starting, I had that problem on a bitnami download for AWS. The latest Processmaker uses Laravel queues. See https://processmaker.gitbook.io/processmaker/processmaker-administration/queue-management

How to set Asana so emailed-in Tasks are brought to my attention when I log in, without manually searching for them each time?

I just started using Asana to manage bug fixes/feature requests from my clients, and I can't hardly believe that every single time I open it I need to manually ask it to show me unassigned tasks and assign them by hand to myself to get them to appear on the My Tasks view. Anything coming in by email (which is how I'm going to have my clients do it) is unassigned, and Asana gives me absolutely no clue when I log in if an unassigned task is waiting for me to assign it, and it will remain hidden from my to-do list (the My Tasks view) until I do.
There are existing solutions on SO for how to search to find unassigned tasks; those are not what I'm after, as those are how to do manual one-time searches, but I want Asana to tell me the things I need to know about without me either having to remember to manually ask for them every single time I log in, or risking missing something time-sensitive.
Alternatively, if it would either automagically assign mailed-in tasks to me, or let me set my "All Tasks" bookmark to be the default view as soon as I log in, either of these would suffice. I can't find any way of doing any of these things—my goal is that 100% of user-submitted tasks be brought to my attention without me having to remember to look for them (otherwise I could just stick with my dubious previous system of remembering to search my email inboxes.)
If you're using one email address to assign tasks (from a form or whatever) you can go to account settings -> from email and add your email address. That will automatically assign those tasks to you.
Here's the asana docs for it: https://asana.com/guide/help/email/email-to-asana
Otherwise, you can use Zapier (or similar service) to manage creating tasks via email for you if you'd prefer not mess around with the API.

JIRA 4.1.1 disable user notification

We are running JIRA 4.1.1 and had an employee who moved elsewhere in the company. We still need his issues in JIRA so we can't completely removed him. Is there anyway to make it so he won't still receive emails/notifications?
I need a solution other than changing the email to an unused or invalid email address, because this will start eating up log space in JIRA
Thanks.
If he moved to another role, his tasks and responsibilities should have been taken over by someone else.
Make a bulk edit and assign that new user to the given issues.
With bulk edit, you can change reporter also.

background file uploader?

So after two days of googling incessantly and apparently asking the wrong questions, I think I have figured out a way to word it so I get the response I'm looking for.
I have a Project Management application, written in MVC3. Sometimes, the users have to attach large files and upload them to the applications. (100-200 mb) is typical. The problem of course is that this is currently handled synchronously, and varying network speeds mean that the application can be completely blocked for 10 minutes to an hour if someone's on a slow connection. FTP is NOT an option here (my hands are tied by our network guys on that one).
So I am looking for a way to do the following workflow:
user clicks Upload File
user selects File to upload
user clicks "Go" or whatever button
Application says "your file is being uploaded. You will be notified when it's complete"
user continues to use the application as normal.
Some things to be aware of: I already have an internal messaging system implemented. So when I say that the app will notify the user when it's complete - all it needs to do is insert a new message into the queue. It DOES NOT need to notify the user's current screen or anything like that - so I'm not worried about a return value of any kind. I also have a background Error log implemented, so I can insert a message into the log if something goes wrong and again - inform the user via the internal messaging system.
So I am stumped on how to implement this. I thought an Async Controller was the right way to go, but if I understand all the stuff I've been seeing - it's not. Feel free to correct me. I implemented a version using Async but when addressing the one problem it had, I was informed that I was doing it wrong anyway.
So uh...help? I'm all ears.
If you can use 3rd party controls then take a look at the Telerik controls:
http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-mvc/upload.aspx
It has an Asynchronous File Upload control.

Automatically deleting temporary storage

Not sure how to go about this problem that I have. In my website, visitors will look at my product catalogue and place orders, leaving behind their email for contact. I would like my website to automatically process their product's detailed report and store in a temporary folder for 24 hrs. The link will then be emailed to them with a one-time-password. 24hrs later I want the folder removed from my server.
I believe there are website that work similarly.
Question is: Is there anyway that I can program a script to remove folders that have reached their expiry time (24hrs in this case) since the time it was last written to? Or do I have to personally station myself at the server to delete off this folders everyday?
There is number of way to do this, you can use background process, check the expiry when user requests a report or the simplest solution - cron job. Not sure what technology do you use, but this should be a nice tutorial for PHP:
http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/php/managing-cron-jobs-with-php-2/
With ruby on rails you have nice cron support and a railscast explaining it:

MS Project Server 2007 : Programmatically toggle Task Alerts for Project Resources

I'm getting into SDK documentation, but this site has so many eyes and great answers I figure I'd throw this one out there to get some leads.
In project Server 2007, you can manage whether or not you get "task Alert" emails whenever a new task is assigned to you or existing tasks are modified. You can change this manually and individually via the web application under your personal settings.
As the project manager, say, I cannot toggle that for the entire team or manage it from my side. So if a resource or stakeholder who is assigned to a task(s) does not want email every time the plan is updated, I cannot handle that for them. I would have to walk them through the Project Web Access application to set it themselves manually.
So, has anyone crossed this bridge, and if so how did you toggle that flag for Task Alerts either through the SDK classes or via the PSI webservices? Before I slog through the docs, if I could get some "take a look ats..." that'd be great...Thanks!
You can change it in the SQL Tables. Here's a posting on it at the project server experts page.
