Distribute ipa in iPad - ios

We have developed an iPhone application. Then client wants to demo the app to his clients in iPad. When we create an ipa and try to install ipa in the iPad. We got error saying like this ipa can not be installed in ipad. Is there any workaround for that or any documentation for steps to follow?

There could be multiple issues
Device UDID is not added in your Apple developer account
Deployment Target in Xcode can be greater than the Device OS version
From Left navigation pane of Xcode click on top project title, And then on right in General section, move to Deployment Info portion, there set Devices to iPad or universal.
After verifying above points, if you still face some issue, don't hesitate to let me know.

Xamarin Deploying iOS App Ad Hoc Failing to Install

I am trying to deploy an iOS app Ad Hoc to an iPhone for beta testing. I've been developing the app on Windows VS, I have a Macbook air with all the necessary software (Xcode, VS, etc), and I have paired to it with VS on my Windows machine. I have also followed the following steps:
Created an Apple Developer account
Created an App ID with the bundle identifier as the same exact one as the one in info.plist
Created a signing certificate using my Macbook Air, downloaded it, and installed it into XCode
Created a provisioning profile with the App ID and the certificate, and made sure to include the device that I want to load the app onto.
Made sure everything above was set to "distribution" and "ad hoc" as needed.
Set Bundle Signing in my iOS project properties to Manual Provisioning, and selected the Signing Identity and Provisioning Profile to the ones that I created for this deployment.
Set the build to Release and the target to Remote Device
Ensured that the deployment target in info.plist was set to the highest available, which is 15.4, though my iPhone is at 15.6 (could this be the problem?)
Set the IPA Packaging Options to "Build iTunes Package Archive (IPA)"
Set "Include iTunesArtwork images and the iTunesMetadata.plist" to true in the same area
Successfully built the iOS project and produced a .ipa file
After all that, I've been trying to get the .ipa onto my phone, which is definitely the device I added to the provisioning profile.
I've tried two methods to do this, and both have failed:
Connecting my phone to my Windows machine and opening iTunes. Dragging the .ipa file onto the device. The app shows up on my phone, but when I try to open it, I get this error:
"This app could not be installed because its integrity could not be verified". Though it should have been.. The device is linked to the provisioning profile that was used to create the darn thing.
Connected my phone to my Macbook Air and accessed the device through XCode > Window > Devices and Simulators. I emailed myself the .ipa file and downloaded it onto the machine (the Microsoft docs explicitly state that emailing the .ipa should work just fine). In the "Intalled apps" section of the device, I clicked the little '+' and then pointed it to the downloaded .ipa. After a few seconds, it pops up an alert window that says "Unable to install *.iOS".
Other things I have tried since this has been a problem:
Recreating the above steps by re-registering my device, creating new certificates, downloading, installing, all that business.
Messing with the deployment target version.
Jumping out from behind the couch and startling it to make it do what it's supposed to.
I swear I'm done with Xamarin forever after this problem is solved, but all the headaches I've experienced have made me think twice about whether to even bother with .NET Maui haha thanks for any help you can provide
Firstly, the error This app could not be installed because its integrity could not be verified" may be caused by the proper certificate or the test devices are not visible in 'Devices' (UDIDs added) in developer.apple.com/account.I found two simialr issues, you can refer to them: link1, link2.
Secondly, have you follow this docs on how to generate the IPA file?

Enable Developer item in Settings Menu of iPhone

I sent the build via Crashlytics to my customer, but he can't instal it (I added the UDID of his device to provision profile). I think, that the problem is because he didn't setup his device for development (because my build is developempent, not production).
For example when I open in my iPhone Settings and scroll down I see Developer string:
But my customer doesn't see this string in his iPhone. How can he enable this menu item? (he doesn't have app macbook, so he can't enable it with xCode)
I know much time has passed since the question was posted, but it appeared still actual for me. Posting the answer for XCode 9 that I have checked.
So to enable Developer item in settings on iPhone follow the steps:
Download and install Xcode on your Mac.
Open Xcode on your Mac.
Plug your iPhone into your computer.
Open your iPhone's Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Developer.

AIR for iOS App not showing on iPad

I have published an ipa from Flash CS6 without any errors (i.e., certificates and provisioning profiles seem to be in order) and ticked the "Install application on the connected iOS device" on the deployment tab.
All goes to plan and even a "IPA file has been installed on the connected iOS device successfully." is displayed.
However, the app is not showing on the connected iPad. And manually installing it through iTunes doesnt solve it (still not showing). The mobile provisioning profile is present on the iPad, but not the app itself.
Am I missing something really obvious?
I'm using Flash CS6, with AIR 3.4 for iOS and publishing to an iPad 2 with iOS 6 installed. iTunes 11 is also installed on my machine.
Would really appreciate help on this?
if the ipad refuse to install the app it's because you don't sign the app with the good certificate.
you may check this tut

Additional tips :
itunes is ok but iFunBox is easier and faster

You should check your APP_ID while publishing the IPA file from flash CS6, if it is not as per your certificate and provisioning file, then it might cause the problem.
Try to look at this.

Problems running app on iOS 5.1.1 with Xcode 4.3.2

When I try to run the app on my iPad 2, I get the following message:
"No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS
version. Connect an iOS device with a recent enough version of iOS to
run your application or choose an iOS simulator as the destination."
First, I checked my provisioning portal to make sure my device was properly provisioned and it shows a development certificate, a device id and an app ID. My profile shows that all of those were successfully generated and that the status is "Active".Since my device contains the most recent version of iOS, I can't figure out why the message is telling me the version isn't recent enough. Do I need a different version of Xcode to get around this problem?
thnx
In organizer, select provisioning profiles in the top left corner, click the refresh button in the bottom right corner. You should be prompted to enter some creds. You should see the profile created for your product in the list.
Once you complete that step, select your iPad in the list of devices and make sure that "use for development" has been selected.
(also, when you say "latest", you mean 5.1.1 right?)

Could not install .ipa through iTunes

I have developed an iPad application using iOS 4.3 SDk. I tried to install the application in a device which runs on iOS 5. I could not install the ipa. It is giving an error that it is not a valid ipa. The provisioning profile is set properly. How this can be solved?
I don't think you can use iTunes.
You must use Xcode which is fairly easy.
Next to the Build and Stop buttons there is drop down menu where you can select ipHone/Ipad simulators and any connected iOS device (given it is compatible with the project)
Just press run (cmd+R) and it will build, load and run your device. You might need to add your device via Organizer/Devices: Select device and press "Use device for development"
I hope it helps
