Possibility of Hack-rf one working on full duplex mode - signal-processing

I am working with hack-rf one and GNU radio. I have one hack-rf one device and i am trying to transmit and receive signals continuously. Is there any module in GNU radio which makes it possible?
Currently i have a flowchart for receive and one for transmit.
I am using selector block but manual switching isnt working properly.
I need to send and receive the same signals after reflection and study the difference.
Any suggestion is welcomed.

Establishing synchronized music streaming across devices

I am attempting to stream audio files from a server to iOS devices and play them completely synchronized. For example on my phone I might be 20 secs into a song and then my friend next to me should also be 20 secs into the song as well. I know this is not an easy problem to solve, but I am attempting to do so.
I can currently get them within one second of each other by calculating the difference in time between the devices and then have them sync up, however that is not good enough because the human ear can detect a major difference in a second and this is over WIFI.
My next approach is going to be to unicast the one file from the server and then have the all devices pick it up directly from the server and then implement some type of buffer system similar to netflix so that network connectivity would be a limiting factor. http://www.wowza.com/ is what I would use to help with that.
I know this can be done, because http://lysn.in/ is does it with their app and I want to be able to do something similar.
Any other recommendations after I try my unicast option?
Would implementing firebase help solve a lot of the heavy lifting problems?
(1) In answer to ONE of your questions (the final one):
Firebase is not "realtime" in "that sense" -- PubNub is probably (almost certainly) the fastest "realtime" messaging for and between apps/browser/etc.
But they don't mean real-time in the sense of real-time, say, as race game engineers mean it or indeed in your use-case.
So firebase is not relevant to you here and won't help.
(2) Regarding your second general question: "how to synchronise time on two or more devices, given that we have communications delays."
Now, this is a really well-travelled problem in computer science.

So in fact, to get a good time base on both machines, you should use that! Have both machines really accurately set a time to NTP using the existing (perfected for decades) NTP synchronisation.

It's possible that doing that will solve all your problems; then just agree to start at a certain exact time.

I would recommend against using the data movement to synchronize the playback. This should be straightforward to do with a buffer and a periodic "sync" signal that is sent at a period of < 1/2 the buffer size. Worst case this should generate a small blip on devices that get ahead or behind relative to the sync signal.

How to put a specific monitor into standby mode? [duplicate]

I have 3 monitors, but I don't need them all turned on all the time. I can just shut them down with power button, but I want to use their standby mode, like Windows does when we let PC idle for a while - it shuts down monitors, HDD, etc.
But of course, I wanna keep using PC and let just that monitor on standby. Others must remain on and that one doesn't wake up even with me using PC.
Is it possible to do that? It would be great to have a shortcut like Winkey+1, 2, 3 etc to shut down and wake up each monitor.
An existing app with this feature is not likely to exist, but is there a Windows API function that can control monitor state, for each monitor in a MultiMonitor system?

You can probably use MS Detours or some other API hooking tool to inspect the usage pattern of the API while using the applet to adjust display settings.
You'll want to try Display Fusion. You should be able to do what you're asking for using Monitor configurations.
I know I'm late on this but use DDC to control your display. You can easily create hotkeys that send a command via DDC to the display to turn-off. This would be equivalent to turning off the display using the button. Works like a charm for me. The only trick is that DDC command specs vary across monitor manufacturers but its not hard to find the right codes to send with the help of google.
Ready made tools also exist for this; search for anything that is related to DDC or EDID and you should find.
Be aware though that this does not remove the display from Windows which means that apps may find their way onto displays that are off and you will be looking for them.

Is it posible to cast to the receiver the input from the phone microphone?

I would like to know if it is posible to cast the audio taken directly from the microphone iOS device to the receiver. (in a live way)
I´ve downloaded all the git example projects, and in all of them use a "loadMedia" method to start the casting. Example of one of those:

Echo is likely if the device (iOS, Android, or Chrome) is in range of the speakers. That said:
Pick a fast codec that is supported, such as CELT/Opus or Vorbis
I haven't tried either of these, but they should be possible.
Implement your own protocol using CastChannel that passes the binary data. You'll want to do some simple conversion of the stream from Binary to something a bit more friendly. Take a look at Intro to Web Audio for using AudioContext.
or, 2. Setup a trivial server to stream from on your device, then tell the Receiver to just access that local server.

Listening on asterisk active calls from custom IOS app

I am working on an mobile app to listen in on ongoing asterisk calls. Asterisk is set up to record calls, however the inbound and outgoing voices get saved to different wav files. Overcoming first obstacle was to stream wav files while they are being written to - this was achieved using Node JS, however now I need to join the mix two files together and stream them, which would be doable if the files were not written to at the same time.
First option would be to figure out how to programatically join the two while continuously checking if EOF has changed while also streaming the result. (Feels above my paygrade)
Second option would be to stream two files independently to client IOS application which would play them at the same time. If the first challenge of playing two streams simultaneously would be solved, it would require very stable connection. Therefore I don't see this as a viable option
Third possibility would be to embed softphone into the IOS app and use it as a client for ChanSpy. Would that be possible and what library can help me achieve it?
What do you guys suggest, perhaps there are more options out there?

Delphi - alternative solution for a global keyboard hook

sorry for this little bit strange title, didn't found a better one..
I've got the following situation:
I have a PC with an RFID reader connected via USB.
I now need a program which pops up when ab transponder was scanned the the RFID reader and shows the scanned value. (The reader just simulates keystrokes)
Problem: the value of the transponder is something like 0001230431, and I can't change it. (To prefix a hotkey combination or so)
So I have thought about using a global keyboard hook, check if three zeros where typed in, capture rest of data and when the 10 digits are complete, call the application through an automation object and show the number.
But I'm not very exalted about using a global keyboard hook. Many AV programs don't like them very much, they are not so easy to handle with Delphi and I guess that's not very resource-friendly for such a little task...
So I'm looking for an alternative solution...maybe somebody has an idea?

ben, you can use the RegisterRawInputDevices and GetRawInputData functions.
first you must use the RegisterRawInputDevices function to register the input device to monitor and then you can retrieves the data from the input device using the GetRawInputData function.
Check theses functions too
GetRawInputDeviceList retrieves the list of input devices attached to the system.
GetRawInputDeviceInfo retrieves information on a device.
Why not make sure the Delphi app with a text edit control has focus before the scan is done? Then the keystrokes will go straight into your Delphi app.
