I have been installing google assistant to my windows 10 laptop, reading about it on different stackoverflow forums and on its website couldn't get it to work but then I tried this one youtube video
I got everything to work but at the end when I want to test the google assistant I get error (which I read about on here also but couldn't solve it) this is what I wrote on cmd :
python -m googlesamples.assistant
and this is error I got :
C:\Users\kalle\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python37\python.exe: No
module named googlesamples.assistant.main;
'googlesamples.assistant' is a package and cannot be directly
executed---
I have got Project ID and Model Id in case you ask to create.
You can't call python -m googlesamples.assistant. That's not a script, it's basically a directory. You probably want to run python -m googlesamples.assistant.grpc.pushtotalk.

I am trying to display docs stored in repository created by backstage io component on backstage-io /docs page UI, but when I am trying to access the docs I am getting the following error
Building a newer version of this documentation failed. Error: "Failed to generate docs from C:\\Users\\Admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\backstage-enprxk into C:\\Users\\Admin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\techdocs-tmp-W6iVab; caused by Error: Docker container returned a non-zero exit code (1)"
Files in my repository
docs folder only having index.md
and mkdocs.yml have
nav:
Home: index.md
I was getting similar issues working on a local POC of Backstage. The biggest problem was that I needed to install pip, python, mkdocs, and mkdocs-techdocs-core (i.e. pip3 install mkdocs-techdocs-core). If you have done that and then followed everything in this documentation, then it should start working. Hope that helps. I spent a couple of days trying to get past these types of errors.
For me the above issue is fixed by using below as it was not working inside my container in kubernetes.
I changed app-config.yaml -
techdocs:
builder: 'local' # Alternatives - 'external'
generator:
runIn: 'local' // changed from docker to local here
My end goal: I want to fetch data from a retail site on an hourly schedule to see if a specific product is back in stock or not.
I tried using xpath in python to scrape the site myself, but I'm not too familiar, and why reinvent the wheel if someone built a scraper already? In this case, Diggernaut has a github repo.
https://github.com/Diggernaut/configs/tree/master/bananarepublic.gap.com
I'm using the above github repo to try and run a pre-existing web scraper on the banana republic retail site. All that's included in the folder is a config.yml file. I don't even know where to start to try and run it... I am not familiar with using .yml files at all, barely know my way around a terminal (I can do basic "ls" and "cd" and "brew install", otherwise, no idea).
Help! I have docker and git installed (not that I know how to use docker). I have a Mac version 10.13.6 (High Sierra).
I'm not sure why you're looking at using Docker for this, as the config.yml is designed for use on Diggernaut.com and not as part of a docker container deployment. In fact, there is no docker container for Diggernaut that exists as far as I can see.
On the main Github config page for Diggernaut they list the following instructions:
All configs can be used with Diggernaut service to retrieve products information.
You need to create free account at Diggernaut
Login to your account
Create a project with any name and description you want
Get into your new project by clicking it and create new digger with any name
Then you will see 3 options suggested to you, you need to use one where you will use meta-language
Config editor will open and you can simply copy and paste config code and click on save button.
Switch mode for digger from Debug to Active and then run your digger.
Wait for completion.
Download data.
Schedule your runs if required.
I was trying to configure the hybridauth library so that I can use the the google + and the facebook sign in. But it keeps me giving a fatal error:
Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'Facebook\Facebook.php' (include_path='.:/var/www/magilla/lib:/var/www/magilla/models') in /var/www/magilla/lib/RPC/Util.php on line 168
I followed each and every step of their documentation. I have used the
composer to install the library. The library version is 2.9 and the
facebook graph sdk, the most recent version of github
READ EDIT*2 for a proper solution instead
I am encountering the same issue and I suppose you install hybridauth the same way as I did, which is running composer require hybridauth/hybridauth on your project root folder.
I solved this by running composer install within the hybridauth
directory where its composer.json exist, that will install facebook
sdk within the hybridauth directory where the autoload.php is being
load by the script (I personally feel like it is more like a hack than
a proper solution... but I have a feeling that the hybridauth
developer expect you to clone then run the composer install instead of
composer requiring it...I maybe wrong as I just start using composer
as well)
*EDIT check out the issue on their github, there is a bug where the vendor path is being replaced by one in their code, it also mention it is being fixed in later commit. I am new to composer as well so I don't know how to specific the commit for it to update to... if you know how to do it let me know as well
*EDIT*2 alright, I updated to 2.9.3-dev and it seems to solve the issue without generating any new one, I also use that for google and twitter and those are fine too. To update, edit your composer.json to this
"require": {
"hybridauth/hybridauth": "^2.9-dev"
}
then run composer update on your command prompt, things should work as long as you require the composer autoload.php for your script
I've Googled this a thousand times and I cannot, for the life of me, get VIM to work on my Minix 3. For the record, I am running on a Windows machine with Minix 3 working on Oracle's VM VirtualBox.
I've tried typing,
# pkgin up && pkgin in vim
but I get the error:
pkgin: Can't open database /usr/var/db/pkgin/pkgin.db: unable to open database file: No such file or directory
I then try to do pkgin search git to search for a package, but I get the same error. Could this be some kind of Internet connection issue? I'm incredibly confused.
If you haven't already, download the binary package from here:
ftp://ftp.minix3.org/pub/minix/packages/3.3.0/i386/editors/
Change "i386" to your correct architecture, if different.
As you're probably already familiar, this page tells you how to install binary packages for Minix:
http://wiki.minix3.org/en/UsersGuide/InstallingBinaryPackages
As far as your "pkgin" errors, here are two possible solutions:
http://osdir.com/ml/minix3/2011-03/msg00244.html
How to install vim into Minix3?
I asked on the Minix 3 Google Groups Forums and they solved my problem. If anyone else has trouble, I'm pasting a response by Lionel:
Switch to http downloads by editing "/usr/pkg/etc/pkgin/repositories.conf" and comment out the line:
ftp://ftp.minix3.org/pub/minix/packages/$osrelease/$arch/All
and add the following:
http://www.minix3.org/pkgsrc/packages/$osrelease/$arch/All
Then do shutdown, boot, pkgin update and then install your desired packages.
I'm working on a symfony project and I need a user access conected to an LDAP server. So I searched for something already done to add to my app and found this plugin that has all I wanted.
So I tried to install with the command $ php symfony plugin:install bhLDAPAuthPlugin
for some reason it throws me this error:
No release avaiable for plugin "bhLDAPAuthPlugin"
I don't really understand what that message means. I've checked the spell of the command (also copied the command given in the page of the plugin) and same error appears. If I had no all requeriments for instalation, other errors would be thrown, right?
PS: If you know some easy way to implement by myself the comunication with LDAP (Microsoft Active Directory) will also be appreciated.
No exactly sure how to solve the error message, perhaps it helps is specifically specify which version you wish to install.
Otherwise there's an easy workaround:
Just download the tgz file from here:
http://www.symfony-project.org/plugins/bhLDAPAuthPlugin/6_0_0
and do
php symfony plugin:install bhLDAPAuthPlugin-etc-etc.tgz
