I am developing an update to an iOS app with a renewing subscription including a 7 day trial.
When I tap on the Free Trial button while testing my app, I see a Subscription confirmation message that says "1 year for $4.99 starting now" and no mention of the trial.
Other apps I looked at display a Trial confirmation modal that says "Free for 1 month starting now."
How do I display the Trial confirmation instead of the Subscription confirmation?
You are not in charge of the text that is displayed in these views. Please, ensure that you specified the free trial period in subscription's introductory price page. If so, you will see the free trial message as on the second screen in the released application, just not in a Sandbox environment.

I am setting up auto-renewable subscriptions for my app.
I have set up 4 subscriptions for 1,3,6, and 12 months with a one week free trial.
Works like a charm, everything is displayed properly on device, etc.
But now I need to take into account multiple cases and one of them is when the user has already consumed the free trial, cancelled the subscription, and then is about to subscribe again.
I don't want to present "1 Week Free Trial" on the payment screen and certainly I don't want the user, who has already used the trial, to be eligible to use it again.
So the question is if I need 2 sets of subscriptions in total?
With Trial:

And without trial:

And then, when user has already used the free trial (this piece of information will be either fetched from my server or an apple receipt), I use the SKProducts from the "without trial" set and the user is charged immediately.
We have an app which has subscriptions with either a monthly or yearly plan. We also offer a 7 Day Free Trial. In App Store Connect there is a metric called "Cancelled Subscriptions".
The questions is: When a user cancels their Free Trial prior to being charged, does this also get triggered as "Cancelled Subscriptions"?
I have an app that has a 1-month trial of an in-app auto-renewing subscription. This past week I've been able to get over 300 trial sign ups. What I'm NOT seeing is any cancellations during the trial period, and I find that hard to believe.
Does App Store Connect show cancellations that happen during a trial period or not, because right now I am showing ZERO cancellations? Am I just really fortunate with my numbers here? Or am I flying blind and the numbers aren't telling me the full story yet?
In App Store Connect, under Sales and Trends > Subscriptions > Summary, I am showing the following:
I finally found cancellation ("churn") metrics in App Store Connect.
Go to the Trends module, then in the sidebar under "Subscriptions" click on Summary and Retention — each of those pages has some metrics related to cancellation. In some places they split out conversion rates from trials, promotions, and renewals.
I want to implement IAP in my application but the client says that application will be run as the free trial in the first week after installation then it must take the charge from IAP else the application will show the popup.
Q1: Can we implement this from the Apple guideline?
In an iOS application offering IAP, When will be the money be remitted from the bank account, when subscribing a product that is offering free trial for a month.
Will it be on the first time subscription itself OR on completion of the free trial period?
Background of the story: One customer has raised concern that money was remitted on subscription itself when he has free trial period available on subscribe button click itself.Cannot find any document saying about amount remittance.
Saw in the iTunes product configuration page this will be only done on free trial completion time.Need confirmation.Please share if any supported link or document on the same.
