I have a chart which has query, result and pivot. pivot has 3 part side labels, top labels and facts.
Some user selected few data in side label and make them a group, I dont know what those values are.
Can somebody let me know how to find grouping values in Hyperion Designer 8.5.
Thanks
Deepak
I'm going to guess that what you have is a pivot table where someone created a drilldown by right-clicking and selecting hide. And you want to know what they hid. Unfortunately, even if you're the one that hid the values, you can't get that information back without showing everything. This is just one of those Hyperion quirks: it assumes that people using Designer are individual developers who aren't going to be hiding and renaming things without remembering the original values. The only way to get it back is to do some detective work by showing everything and trying to replicate the table.

I'm using GeoGebra Classic 5 and have a bigger project where I've encountered the problem that I can't find any way to change the order of elements in the list of the algebra view after the elements are created. Sure I could of course just delete the affected elements and create them in the right order but I'm sure there must be a better solution to such a simple problem.
Here you see what it looks like right now, and how I would like it to look
I've tried looking through the properties panel and all the navbar buttons but there seems to be no way to change the order of the list. The only thing I've found is the "sort by" setting that changes the order but doesn't let the user decide the order other than some predefined sortings. I also haven't been able to find anything about this on google or the geogebra documentation. Hope you can help
I'm trying to reset data labels that have been changed manually in google sheets bars chart, and I can't find it in any of the options of the "chart editor". I always get back the last numbers that was inserted manually, and not the original data from the table at question.
I tried to edit it in the "Setup" section, under the "Series" and pick the data range again, but couldn't find a way that works. maybe I'm missing something.
the only way I can think of, of course, is building the same graph again, but this is not smart when I have so many graphs to update
help pls
select the given single data label you want to reset, then right click it and choose "Format data point" > "Revert to default"
haven't found a way to revert multiple at the same time, might need to recreate the chart for that
I'm stuck on this one, and after a number of google searches am now wondering if I'm the only person who's ever tried to do this.
I have a google sheet that users are required to fill in. There is a drop-down selection option at the top, specifying the region the user needs the file for.
However, as the user gets down to the lines for the individual items required, some (a small number) may not be for the region selected at the top.
So what I'm trying to do is add the regions to the individual lines. The default for each line should be the region selected at the top, so this should show as pre-selected. But I want the user to be able to still click on a drop-down arrow and select a different region for a line.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Thank you!
Okay,
I'm unsure of your expected outcome, your request is also not very clear -
What I've done is created a list via Data validation, however, if a user enters data into the adjacent column:

also it's good practice to share an example of your workbook for others to edit and work on.
let me know if this is what you wanted.
First off, thanks mottie for doing so much in terms of answering questions and providing demos, it's been great. I have a table with drop-down filters using the widget. There is an option for one of the drop-down selectors, called "Deprecated". I am trying to use a button external to the table to toggle whether or not any rows with this "Deprecated" value are being displayed. When these rows are being shown, I want them to behave like all other table rows.
I couldn't find a straightforward way to do this, after approaching it at several different angles. Any help would be much appreciated!
I am using jQuery ui.multiselect.js plugin to order columns in my jqGrid. I have noticed that there are some inconsistencies in the way this plugin behaves. It lets me drag-n-drop from right column to left but not left to right column. Has anyone got a working solution to this problem.
I don't think it is exactly a problem, it is the way the plugin is supposed to work if you set the option sortable: true which is the default:
you can drag column from right list to left to choose which ones you'd like to show in the grid
you can re-order the column on the left list to change the order they appear in the grid
Setting the option sortable to false cancels both these behaviors, you cannot drag to add and sort columns order anymore.
ui.multiselect.js has been updated since this post, and it now allows you to drag from left to right as well. It also allows you to load data from an external source now. You can check it out here.
