Whenever I open a Colaboratory Document I always get the same error message:
NotSupportedError: Failed to register a ServiceWorker: The user denied permission to use Service Worker.
This is happening on chrome and my browser allows for ServiceWorkers (chrome://serviceworker-internals/), what's going on? Because the thing is all the code still runs.
Colab's output frames use service workers to support some functionality such as displaying richer graphs (Altair and Plot.ly).
The error message indicates that third-party cookies are disabled in your browser, this will prevent the browser service workers from working. The option should be configured under chrome://settings/content/cookies.
I tried white-listing in chrome link (chrome://settings/content/cookies) the following:
https://[*.]googleusercontent.com:443
[*.]colab.research.google.com
Here it was the best approach, better than simply liberatin the 3rd part cookies
Seems to work so on.
Usually there are two causes for this error:
1- you didn't allow cookies on colab domain, so you need to change you browser settings
2- you are using an adblocker

I'm following this tutorial to create a simple web app with a Microsoft 365 login. I'm currently getting this error when debugging locally (http://localhost:8080):
Warning:
mgt-loader.js:61 A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://unpkg.com/#microsoft/mgt/dist/bundle/wc/webcomponents-loader.js, is invoked via document.write. The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 for more details.
In Azure, I have the Redirect URIs set up to match (http://localhost:8080).
After some googling, I tried adding async, but then I get this warning and the login button doesn't appear:
mgt-loader.js:61 Failed to execute 'write' on 'Document': It isn't possible to write into a document from an asynchronously-loaded external script unless it is explicitly opened.
What would be causing this warning and how can I fix it?
First, check out how document.write works: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Document/write
You will understand why you cannot run document.write in asynchronous context (try running document.write('Hello world!'); in console on any page).
Warning tells you that a parser blocking (synchronous), cross site (not coming from the same domain as website) scripts can be blocked by Chrome in the future if someone has unstable or bad internet connection.
If you want it to run synchronously without that warning, you have to bundle that JS code with your own, or just serve it from your own origin, same as your website (e.g. localhost:8080). You can download #microsoft/mgt npm package and for bundling - use gulp, webpack or other tool of your choice.
https://unpkg.com/#microsoft/mgt#2.4.0/dist/bundle/wc/webcomponents-loader.js
This script tries to differentiate between async and sync contexts (line 175) and run document.appendChild (instead of write) for async context - but for some reason the check fails (readyState === loading).
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Document/readyState
How to check if an Javascript script has been loaded Asynchronously (Async) or async attribute is present?
If you want to run this in non-blocking manner, you could try to fix the script by yourself.
There is a Github repo for that toolkit (https://www.npmjs.com/package/#microsoft/mgt), but there is no issue regarding async loading, nor regarding the warning that you have noticed - so maybe nobody else has noticed or thought about it yet.
We tried to load scripts but something went wrong.
Please make sure that your network settings allow you to download scripts from the following domain:

Tried Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet explorer also tried with different PC.
Not able to login into bitbucket
I'm using Chrome Version 77.0.3865.120 (Official Build) (64-bit). I got the same error trying to log in to my group's Atlassian site, and I was able to fix it by specifically allowing JavaScript from Atlassian:
Open Chrome settings
Click on Advanced
Click on Privacy and Security
Click on Site Settings
Click on JavaScript
Make sure JavaScript is set to allowed
Next to Allow, click Add
Paste the URL from the error message in and click Add
I've faced a similar problem recently while traveling and trying to work from a new location.
First I've tried the steps from the previous answer which unfortunately didn't help me (but they definitely may be useful in a different case scenario).
I'm renting a house with an existing pre-configured WIFI router which I could get an access to manage it over the web UI.
I'm not sure which of the following helped me. I did the following changes to the router configuration:
Added the 8.8.8.8 as a primary DNS Server
Enabled IPV6
Disabled the built-in firewall (this one is the more likely one which fixed the issue)
The server is running a custom REST endpoint configured using the following line
org.neo4j.server.webadmin.data.uri=/db/abc
in neo4j-server.properties. REST is then working fine using /db/abc, but then the browser client (http://$SERVERHOST:7474/browser) stops working and displays the Disconnected from Neo4j message. Packet sniffing indicates it is still trying to connect to db/data. Clearing local web caches doesn't help. Is there a way to point the browser client to use a custom endpoint?
Sources indicate that /db/data is possibly hardcoded into the browser as part of client "Settings" (see line 23). There is supposedly a way to reconfigure these settings using the :config command in the client, but the command bar is only available when the client is already connected to the server.
Is there a way to get this to work, or is it possibly a bug in the browser client?
Current option is to download source code of the browser and change what you need.

I'm using rasterizeHTML.js to create a canvas representing DOM elements of the webpage (such as a screenshot of the page), and then I'm passing it to texImage2d, in order to use this canvas as a texture. Althought it works fine in Firefox 21.0, in others browser (Chrome, Safari..) I get the following error:
SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18: An attempt was made to break through
the security policy of the user agent.
Is there a way to bypass the security policy? I want to use it locally. I tried also to use a local webserver (MAMP) because I thought it could by due to the same origin policy but the error is the same... Thanks a lot!
The local web server is needed, but have you also made sure that all of the images you are loading are from that server, not from other origins? Use the browser's web inspector to make sure you are not loading any resources from other domains.
There is this one action that is requested using javascript during the loading of a page, it takes over 25 seconds to resolve. Looking at the code makes me think there is a scaling issue, but I am wondering if there is any way I can step through the code during the request so I can see what is happening. I try clicking 'debug/start debugging' but it won't launch the proper URL (access to the site is subdomain based), and it will also not find certain dependencies. I am able to browse the site directly via URL locally after mapping a URL via my hosts file to localhost (127...) but the default url that pops up (localhost...) from debug does not work because it is not formatted properly.
Any ideas?
You can attach the debugger to your browser by selecting "Attach to process" under "Debug" menu.
In the past, at least with ASP.NET we have used tracing to debug issues. You will just need to enable it in the webconfig. If you use warn, the messages will show in red and be easier to spot.
