Neo4j Enterprise 3.2 browser does not connect - neo4j

I am trying to learn Neo4j by using the trial Enterprise version, however the browser is not able to connect. The service is running but when I try to log in via browser http://localhost:7474/browser/ the error is:
N/A: WebSocket connection failure. Due to security constraints in your
web browser, the reason for the failure is not available to this Neo4j
Driver. Please use your browsers development console to determine the
root cause of the failure. Common reasons include the database being
unavailable, using the wrong connection URL or temporary network
problems. If you have enabled encryption, ensure your browser is
configured to trust the certificate Neo4j is configured to use.
WebSocket readyState is: 3
In the console the error is:
WebSocket is already in CLOSING or CLOSED state.
I am using Chrome and the neo4j.conf is:
# Bolt connector
dbms.connector.bolt.enabled=true
#dbms.connector.bolt.tls_level=OPTIONAL
dbms.connector.bolt.listen_address=:7687
# HTTP Connector. There must be exactly one HTTP connector.
dbms.connector.http.enabled=true
#dbms.connector.http.listen_address=:7474
# HTTPS Connector. There can be zero or one HTTPS connectors.
dbms.connector.https.enabled=true
#dbms.connector.https.listen_address=:7473
I understand from this issue the 3.2 version only allows bolt and I tried playing with the conf but so far no luck. Is there a way to get the local connection going with bolt?
Thank you in advance, Paola

KeyCloak: Connection has been refused by the server. Connection timed out

Occasionally I receive a connection timeout when calling the /userinfo endpoint of my KeyCloak-Server.
So far, I have no indication what's wrong and what causes the timeouts. There are no errors in the server.log I configured. Also, I cannot reproduce the issue, I just see the errors in the logs of the application trying to authenticate with keycloak.
Is there some sort of connection limit that my keycloak might use?

What additional logs can I activate to narrow down the problem?
I am currently on version 17.0.1
Try running keycloak in debug mode kc.sh start --log-level=debug If the /userinfo call reached the keycloak then there will be a debug log for that, you can match the time when error occurred to the keycloak log.
Do you have any other components in between your application and keycloak such as proxy, a DNS server etc ? You would need to check their logs as well.

Azure Hybrid Connections to onsite SQL Server with a Linux PHP WebApp - sanity check

Okay, I feel I'm pretty good at problem solving but I'm stumped! I can't get connectivity to the SQL Server via the Hybrid Connector or directly.
System Overview:
1x Linux PHP Based WebApp with all the correct SQLSRV libraries working (using a azure sql server I can get the webapp working fine, but need to use our onsite server for the time being)
1x Onsite SQL Server (win2012, sql version 11.0.7), which has an external static IP (and FQDN) and exposed to the internet on port 1433 (I can use SMSS from an external IP to connect and manage the server - with that IP added to the firewall that is..)
So firstly - trying to connect via PHP / SQLSRV directly to the server doesn't work (even if I allow all internet traffic to connect to the server via the firewall) - which is odd as SMSS works. The server is Win2012 and TLS 1.2 is enabled - but I get Error code 0x2746. Investigating this, I think its something to do with openssl 1.1.1 and SQL Server still only using SHA1 - I modified the openssl.cnf file to SECLEVEL=1 - still not dice.
So I've proceeded to setup the Hybrid connections using port 1433 using internal machine name say 'SERVER01' for the endpoint - everything says connected on both the azure hybrid screen and also on the connection manager on the server. I can telnet from SERVER01 to the service endpoint bus and from SSH on the WebApp I can ping the hybrid end point 'SERVER01:443'
But trying to connect to the database from PHP using SQLSRV it timeouts.
Anyone got any pointers? I'm thinking its due to the old onsite server being too old (Win2012) and the SSL SHA1 issues.

How do I connect to a neo4j embedded instance via bolt using the neo4j browser?

I've followed the instructions in section 4.14 of the documentation but I can't figure out how to connect the neo4j browser to my embedded instance. Once the server is running, I open the browser via neo4j desktop and run :server connect. This prompts me for a host, username, and password. I'm not sure what to put for these values. I've tried many combinations of localhost, localhost:7687, and bolt://localhost:7687 for the host, and I've tried username/password combinations such as neo4j/neo4j, neo4j as a username with a blank password, and a blank username and password. I've never set a username and password for the database. No matter what I try, I always get the following error:
ServiceUnavailable: WebSocket connection failure. Due to security constraints in your web browser, the reason for the failure is not available to this Neo4j Driver. Please use your browsers development console to determine the root cause of the failure. Common reasons include the database being unavailable, using the wrong connection URL or temporary network problems. If you have enabled encryption, ensure your browser is configured to trust the certificate Neo4j is configured to use. WebSocket `readyState` is: 3
What are the proper values for host, username, and password?
Turns out either localhost:7687 or bolt://localhost:7687 is fine, and username/password can both be empty. Interestingly enough, the way I was building my uber-jar with maven seemed to make the bolt dependency unavailable. I switched to buck and the bolt connector seemed to start.

Trying to setup Neo4j 3.2.0 in ubuntu server

I am trying to setup Neo4j version 3.2.0 in the ubuntu server 14.04.2 LTS
Downloaded the tar and extracted the folder, edited the config file to update the port to 4444, for the time being disabled the bolt connector, listen_address to 0.0.0.0 for the http connector, authentication also disabled just to get started.
bolt connector is updated with the port 7687 even though it is disabled as i was trying earlier with it enabled.
Now when i try to connect to the http://serverip:4444/browser, it says Database access not available and shows me the login screen with host prefilled bolt://serverip:7687
Also I see this error on the console window
WebSocket connection to ws://serverip:7687/
failed: Error in connection establishment:
net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Dont understand the issues here, please help me out. I am not sure why is it trying to do a WS to the port assigned to the bolt, when it is disabled at the first place.
Regards
There's a bit of juggling going on for HTTP connector support between the browser and the driver being used, a handoff which isn't complete, and the state of things is the browser is only supporting bolt connections right now.
The javascript bolt driver is being upgraded to handle http connections, I think, so you may need to wait until the next 3.2.x release to use the http connector again.
I think this issue should be tracking it.

Configuring SSL to work with IIS and parse server

I have an ssl certificate(Geotrust) installed to IIS 8, listening on port 443 and running on windows server 2012-r2. This works when I access https://myapp.example.com and it shows me the standard IIS page. My problem is that I am trying to connect to the parse-server(nodejs, express) running on serverUrl: http://localhost:1337/parse. So when trying to connect to https://myapp.example.com:1337/parse
chrome says: "myapp.example.com finished the connection unexpectedly" and I cant reach the expected site.
ios-simulator says: kCFStreamErrorDomainSSL, -9806.
The connections to http works as expected on the urls described above.
I have tried to set the SSL port to 1337(and portforward 443->1337 on my router), but then I can not start the parse-server on the same port.
First time doing this, so really gratefull if anyone can point me in the right direction!
Solved by doing an reverse proxy in IIS 8.
I needed two applications in IIS and downloaded them like this: yourSite->right-click middle pane->"install application from gallery" and search & download these:
Download URL Rewrite (i downloaded 3.0)
Application Request Routing
This helped a lot:
