I have developed a website, and now I would like to transform this website to an iOS application.
There is a tool in Android which is called "Website 2 APK Builder" which does what I want. I don't know if there is something similar in iOS.
If not, how could I do this, without using any framework if possible?

Apple doesn't allow apps of this type. If your app is just wrapping a web site, they will reject it. Here is a quote from their list of app rejection reasons:
Your app should be engaging and useful, and make the most of the
features unique to iOS. Websites served in an iOS app, web content
that is not formatted for iOS, and limited web interactions do not
make a quality app.
So, forget about wrapping your web site into an iOS app. Your options are to create a native iOS app from scratch, or you can optimise your web site to give iOS users the best possible experience when using your site through Safari.

I should point out that frameworks exist for building hybrid apps, which are cross-platform apps built in HTML/CSS/JavaScript but packaged inside native apps and distributed as native apps. The Cordova framework or its derivatives such as PhoneGap and Ionic allow you to build apps this way. Apple still won't allow you to just wrap a random web site though, you have to create something which "feels like" a native app.

I am currently in charge of developing an iOS delivery driver app for our company. What are some available (preferably Free) Turn-by-Turn SDK's or tools. We don't have many drivers so it would be limited usage of the service. I have done some research on Google Maps iOS SDK and have spoken to them as well over the phone. They do Not offer their Turn-by-Turn capabilities within a third party app.
Thanks
You can a solution based on OpenStreetMap, like the Scout SDK, that allows you to embed turn by turn directly inside your app.
For android: There are no turn-by-turn SDK's/tools currently available that you can use within a third party app. Your options are to build your own, or launch an app like Google Maps or Waze with parameters like start/end locations.
Try https://www.mapbox.com/ both for iOS & Android.

iOS app with Qt? [closed]

I am thinking of developing an cross-platform app for iOS and Android using Qt.
Has anyone done this before?
My app consists of 3 things:
a simple pedometer
a webview to a simple website
connection to Apple Health's API
I wan to know if this would be technically possible with Qt and if a simple app like this would be accepted into the appstore (I've heard of difficulties about publishing apps that are not coded natively).
From Qt;
Clang, the compiler used for iOS applications, allows mixing C++ and Objective-C code. To enable this mode, suffix your source files with .c mm, and add them to OBJECTIVE_SOURCES instead of SOURCES in the .pro file. This makes it possible to use frameworks from Apple's iOS Developer Library in Qt applications. Most useful is perhaps the possibility for adding In-App Purchasing with the StoreKit framework.
With connecting to Apple Health's API you'd have to use Objective-C/Swift code. This is a code example mixing C++ and Objective-C https://github.com/richardmg/qtdd13_qmlapp
As to publishing apps that are not coded natively, Clang is the front-end and LLVM is the back-end that compiles C, C++, Objective-C and swift code. If the compiler compiles code written in those languages or if you're able to test run the app you wrote on the OS, there shouldn't be problems publishing them. Unless there are some issues such as security with your app. The only problem you might face is being able to use specific features of the OS in your app like Apple health kit API or in-app purchase API written in python or C++ or any language that can be used to write iOS/Android apps. In which case, you'd have to use their original API. There are apps in iOS/Android app stores that are not written in their native languages.

I need to develop an mobile app in Android which will be used by few office people only and below are the requirements :
Generally in office work-space or meeting rooms we have WAP to access internet, which is connected to Router and then to Internet server.
Now the app should be able to communicate to WAP, Router to get their status.
app should be for mobile devices.
only registered users can use this app
only single app on each mobile
1st install the app and register with respective company before using it.
as of now app is for Android platform but in future may need same app for iOS mobiles.
I need suggestion/guidance on how design the app using before starting the code.
As of now i can think of using 2 design patterns i.e. Singleton and Factory Pattern (for User registration). Also i'm not sure in which language should i develop communication library so that it can be used cross-platform also.
Do we need to follow any client-server architecture for above app ?
Please throw some light on above.
Thanks,

This could be the most stupid question, but I swear I cannot find where and how to download the Mobile SDK on the HERE website.
I only found where to download the documentation
Also, what is the difference between the Hybrid and the Online version of the sdks?
Correct, The SDK is only available for Download by contacting the Here Team currently.
The Basic difference between Hybrid and Online would be Offline capability with Hybrid version whereas Online requires an Internet connection always.
On this link at the bottom https://developer.here.com/native-apis
Platform Availability
HERE Mobile SDK is available for Android and iOS platforms, for Business and Mobile OEM customers, the HERE Mobile SDK for Tizen is exclusively licensed to Mobile OEMs. For more information or to receive access to the HERE Mobile SDK please contact us.
Seems like you have to contact them before you can use their SDK
Click on the below link to download Here maps mobile SDKs for android and iOS:
https://developer.here.com/plans/mobile-sdk
Hybrid version will work both online and offline modes whereas online version will only work in online mode. You can download the maps with Here mobile SDK and then you can navigate to the places without internet. In hybrid version app will switch to offline automatically whenever net is not available.
Note: Currently there are two types of mobile SDKs are available
1.Starter Evaluation(90-day free trial) : We cannot download maps with this. Hybrid mode will not work here.
2.Premium Evaluation(90-day free trial) : We can download maps.

Here goes my first question. I sure hope i'm doing it right.
I've searched the web for this and found evidence of the Wired app being compiled with Adobe Flash but that's about it. There's a lot of talk on the Adobe website singing its praises but are Apple allowing these apps onto the App Store these days with the CS 5.5 update?
So, can anyone estimate how many apps floating around on the App Store that are written with Adobe Air? Any examples would be great too.
Thanks a lot
Alistair
Yes, AIR based apps are accepted in the App Store if they meet the general requirements. Apps are no longer rejected for not being developed using "Objective-C, C, C++, or JavaScript as executed by the iPhone OS WebKit engine", that demand has been removed.
There's quite a few games developed using AIR in the App Store, for example MeteorStorm, Gridshock, Chroma Circuit and Pyramix (Pyramix has been "featured" by Apple, see http://blog.theflashblog.com/?p=2740).
So mostly games, I don't know of many non-game apps, besides TouchUp Pro - Photo Editor, http://itunes.apple.com/app/id439242122, that also has been among the "featured" apps.
It's hard to estimate. I know that data is not the plural of anecdote, but I can say that my company has created a game for the web that was then subsequently published as an iOS app, which was accepted and published to the app store. So yes, Apple is accepting them.
