How am I able to create a keyboard that is already enabled in the app, or is it just buttons put next to each other to make it seem like a keyboard. Like the image below

you can use to the UIButton element or UIView with TouchBegan. But don't keyboard extension because different controller.

You can use ETCustomKeyboard which is mostly like same as you need.
And the output of that is show into below image:
You can modify this as per your need.
And HERE is one more same like that.
Hope this will help.

Create the keyboard as an ordinary UIView, and make it the inputView for your text field. There is more information in Apple's Custom Views for Data Input page.

Custom Keyboard on iOS

I need to create a custom keyboard for my app, but no sure the best way to do it without the user needing to add a keyboard in the settings. If I create a keyboard extension is it possible to set a UITextField's Keyboard Type to that custom keyboard? Or will I have to use a UIView to accomplish this?
For a custom keyboard that is specific to a single app, create a view and assign the view to UITextField.inputView:
textField.inputView = YourCustomKeyboard()
In my search I didn't find a way to tack on additional keys but there are examples of custom keyboards using inputView that are easy to adapt.

You can add accessoryView to text view for you want to give a few extra buttons.

Modify number keyboard in iOS

Need to create the iOS keyboard similar to attached image, it is possible any how with the native solution?
I have tried to assign a return key which is Done but i am getting following
You can create a custom input view with needed appearance.
To achieve this, you can use property inputView if UITextField:
The custom input view to display when the text field becomes the first
responder.
Here you can find a guide about custom input views.
Also I've created small example with custom input view without buttons: https://github.com/K-Be/KeyboardNotifications/tree/master_CustomInput .

How to set a custom keyboard for UIWebView

How to show a custom keyboard and Input Accessory View for a editable UIWebView for iOS7 and up.
i.e: How can i set and make use a value from [UIWebView setInputView:] and [UIWebView setInputAccessoryView:]
It would be helpful to understand what you're trying to do? You can either be trying to force a specific type of keyboard such as numeric, email, etc. that will use the keyboard the user has explicitly installed on their device (or the system one).
In order to do this, you can reference this apple doc which shows you the 'type' attribute to add to an tag.
Otherwise you are asking about loading a custom keyboard that you have created from the webview. The app developer in me screams, "you should NEVER do this." If you're content is generic enough to merit putting into a webview, than it is certainly not worth loading a custom keyboard.
If you realllly need to do this, you can set keyboardDisplayRequiresUserAction to NO, then use custom javascript to request the app to perform a native function, then drop a uitextfield or uitextview directly overtop the html input field and set a custom input view on the native control. There are an obscene amount of problems with following this approach, and I sincerely hope you
Are you trying to customize the ios keyboard or you want to show an HTML keyboard?
In the first case you can look at this link: link
In the second case you can just google for it, this is the first result searching for "html keyboard".
Good luck
I believe there is no way to do this as of now. Hence, my current approach is to use a custom view below the keyboard and hide the keyboard and show the keyboard as required.

Editing keyboard layout in iOS

Is there a possibility to change the button layout on a pre-made ios keyboard?
I would like to add "done" and "punctuation" buttons to numeric keyboard.
There is the Decimal Pad available but in this case i would have to add a custom done button at the top.
Is there a way to move the "delete" button to the right and make it half of its current width, put next to it the "decimal" button and on the former place of "delete" locate "done"?
No, you'll have to implement your own keyboard, if you duplicate the Apple one it will get rejected.
iOS does not support making those types of changes to the keyboard, the only thing you can do is change the text associated with the Done/Enter button by changing the UIReturnKeyType of the associated UITextField.
You can make a View With the buttons you want and set the inputView to the custom view you made ,, and you got a custom keyboard :D
You cannot directly modify the keyboard other than by choosing one of apple's presets. However, it is possible to add additional keys above it using -inputAccessoryView, like WolframAlpha has done in its app.
It looks like you can replace the keyboard entirely, but the accesory view is probably the way to go. See the answer to Adding key to IPad keyboard
EDIT: For an example of how this would look, check out WolframAlpha's blog post on the subject. In your case the accessory view probably won't be quite so tall

How can I create a dynamic overlay for a UIButton?

My application has a few portions that have really big buttons (640x130, 230x150, etc.) What I need is to have a way to update different portions of the button, with different text. Initially, I assumed that in my code I could create various UILabels and then add them as subviews to my button. However, as soon as I try to add a UILabel to the button as a sub-view, my app crashes.
What is the easiest way to create an overlay for a button, that I can completely layout myself, without preventing button taps from being interested using overlay controls?
I imagine there are multiple ways to solve this problem. However, the best solution for my case should use the fewest lines of code (I have quite a few of these types of buttons) and I'd like to be able to continue using some form of configurable button within IB.
I'm not opposed to subclassing UIButton but, if I do, I would like to be able to use it in IB. I've never created a custom UIView for such a circumstance, so I'd need help defining that type of subclass so that it will work correctly in IB.
You need to add the subview to the containing view - not the button. To ensure that is doesn't interfere with button presses, be sure to set it to:
[myCustomTextOverlay setUserInteractionEnabled:NO];
