I create Facebook application on developers.facebook.com.
Configure and integrate Facebook SDK in my iOS application according to facebook guide.
And now after install application to new device, and login with Facebook. I see tracked events in Analytics -> Events -> Most Recent (filter by event type "App installs").
But in dashboard page a see old date in "Last Mobile App Installs":
If clicked on "Last Mobile App Installs", i see graph with tracked installs:
Several times I validate the configuration of iOS project. I also have another project in which everything works fine. And the project settings are identical.
I checked request after iOS app installed to device: https://graph.facebook.com/v2.3/FACEBOOK_APP_ID/activities?&event=MOBILE_APP_INSTALL (i cut some informations from request).
Response "success": true
What can I try to do?
Edited (29.06.2015)
I check App Ads Helper (thank you Sleepy Panda). And what i see:
I fixed my problem.
For others, who like me will not understand what was happening. Facebook tracked organic install. In my case i took a new device (which was not used with my application earlier). Install and launched app.
Thats all! After few minutes Facebook dashboard has been updated.

I am developing an ios app and trying to allow the user to connect to their LinkedIn account.
I am using the steps found in
https://developer.linkedin.com/docs/ios-sdk-auth
where I
Registered my app with LinkedIn to get the application id.
Updated my info.plist with the *li{application id}* entries for URL Schemes
Called LISDKSessionManager.createSessionWithAuth() to start the login process.
However, this only opens up the LinkedIn app on my iPad, but does not show me which permission I had requested nor redirect me back to my app. I am at a loss to if this is the intended behaviour or am I missing a step.
Note that the sampleapp provided by linkedin also does not show me the page with a list of permissions requested or redirect me back to my own app.
It appears that the LinkedIn app has an iPad-specific bug that prevents it from returning to other apps after createSessionWithAuth: is called, even when all credentials are correct.
(I had to wait for the delivery of a physical iPhone to test my hypothesis, as there is no way to log in like this on a simulator).
Update
My answer was with regard to the 1.0.2 sdk, which also had problems with all iOS 9 devices. The iOS 9 problems were fixed with the 1.0.4 sdk, but the iPad problems remain.
Found the solution. For me, it was about setting our bundles right:
On https://www.linkedin.com/developer/apps/xxxxxx/mobile, make sure that your 'iOS Bundle Identifiers' is the same on your app. Plus, click on Update! I just added and 'forgot' to save them.
I was implementing optimized integration for Facebook Messenger Platform for my iOS app using the SDK and am facing a few issues. When I share content from my app to Facebook Messenger, I always see the "Install" link alongside my app link, even though the app is installed. Also, I never see the "Reply" button on the content shared from my app, just Install.
Both the sender and receiver have Admin access to the corresponding Facebook app. (The FB integration features are currently in dev, even though the app is live).
Followed all the sequence of steps mentioned in the documentation - https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger/ios
FBSDKMessengerURLHandler callbacks are implemented for FBSDKMessengerURLHandlerReplyContext and FBSDKMessengerURLHandlerOpenFromComposerContext as well.
Not sure how to proceed to test the features. Anybody else faced the same problem? Any help would be much appreciated.
I had the same issue. Find any valid iOS App Store ID and fill it in on the developers.facebook.com page (near where you enter the Bundle ID info).
Relaunching Messenger made the Reply button start to show up on new messages.
The developer community at Facebook is pretty awful.
I've implemented facebook sdk into my project and everything is setup exactly as shown in guide https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/ios/v2.0, including info.plist file.
FacebookAppID, FacebookDisplayName and URL types are set (see image)
Everything is working when I use facebook app login, or browser login, but when I've added account into devide, so iOS native login dialog should be present, nothing happend, log only displays User cancelled every time I press Facebook login button.
I've done several projects before with facebook login implementation and I've not experienced this error. I think I'm missing something but somehow I can't figure. The appId and item 0 with prefix have the same numbers and display name is copied exactly from FB developer.
The strange issue I've noticed here is that when I first install app on device with FB account setup in settings, I can click it once...nothing happend and after second click the application is automatically disabled in Settings > Facebook.
UPDATE: I was able to login with native login dialog with older version of Facebook SDK (I've just replaced latest SDK with older one and now it works...don't forget to change permissions because latest SDK uses permissions public_profile instead of basic_profile used in older versions of SDK) why native login is not working with latest FB SDK is still a mistery :)
The answer to
'why native login is not working with latest FB SDK is still a
mystery'?
is here. See the upgrade guide form 3.13 > 3.14.
The default login behavior has changed from FBSessionLoginBehaviorUseSystemAccountIfPresent to FBSessionLoginBehaviorWithFallbackToWebView
I'm currently developing an iOS app that uses the Facebook sdk for login (through FBLoginView).
Everything works well except for those who have an older version of facebook.
When they press the "login with facebook" button they reach facebook's login page as intended, but once they log in they get an error message stating that the app is not well configured, here's a screenshot of the error:
subtitle: "Application not configured: the developers of this app haven't properly configured it to connect to Facebook"
As I said things fail for those who have an older version of facebook only, I can currently see 3 versions around me, the one with the dark sidebar on the left, one with 2 sidebars on both sides, and the old one with a light sidebar on the left.
Is there something special to do to have it working on all version ?
In case it happens to somebody else : I had the same error and it came from the fact that I tried to login with another login that the one I used to create the app on the facebook dashboard.
Because when your app on the facebook dashboard is in development mode, it is only visible to the account who created it...
Check whether your app is not in Sandbox mode and if it is then set testers through the developers' settings, also check and try to create a new hashkey and to input it in the developers' settings.
After I compiled my game in Unity and XCode, I'm running the game on my iPhone. And when FB.Login("email,publish_actions", LoginCallback) gets called, it brings me to a window that says
Error
App not Setup: The developers of this app have not set up this app properly for Facebook Login.
In the App Dashboard Do you want to make this app and all its live features available to the general public? is set to NO, HOWEVER I've added a Test User in the App Dashboard, and I'm logged in as that Test User on my phone outside of my app under Settings. Shouldn't this work? I don't want to publish my app to all users just yet.
I also double checked:
"App Id" in Unity -> Facebook -> Edit Settings is the same as the one in the App Dashboard
"Bundle ID" in the App Dashboard is the same as in Unity's Player Settings -> Bundle Identifier
In the App Dashboard I have "App Domain" empty, since I just run it from the iPhone and not from the Web. Or do I still need an App Domain..?
Not sure if it's relevant, but on running FB.Init, he logs this in XCode:
Using SDK 4.3.6, Build 131121.17562b74012d24a
Finished loading Facebook dll. Build N/A
DO you have Facebook APP id in info.plist? check bundle id is case sensitive? Is single sign on set to yes in Facebook dashboard? also try enabling client auth login and embedded browser auth login in FB dashboard.
I found the problem. Everything was set up correctly with the app on Facebook and Unity, however just on my phone my Facebook app had another user logged in.
Seems like that is a different login thing that when you log in under Settings.
Thanks for your help though!
