Test android application onn samsung galaxy grand - android-testing

I am using ubuntu 14.04 os and i have adt bundle for 64 bit. How can i test the android application which is created in these adt on samsung galaxy grand?

either use android emulator that google provides (as far as i know, that won't be an issue even if your OS is 64bit), or connect your device using adb and run it directly.

It is very easy to test in windows.
I am using windows 7 ultimate + Android studio.
1. Install Android studio
2. create hello world android app project.
3. click 'run' it should list your device to run app on.
If it does not show in device list follow below linkto first install Handset Manufacturer specific driver for andoid.
download and install android driver for debugging

You can't run an app on an iPhone in windows OS. you have to use Mac OS to run or test the IOS app. Apple limited environment of IOS and iPhone.
Unfortunately you can't run flutter apps from a Windows environment to ios the only way is you have a Mac device.
you can check the following question and see the suggestions there it might help you understand why it's not possible to this.

How to build IOS apps in flutter in windows

I want to develop a application for for my company. I'm using flutter to build it for both android and IOS platform. But I have only windows machine, so I'm only able to build it for Android. Can I build(generate apk) IOS flutter apps in windows machine ?
if yes please explain it well.
You can develop the UI on android itself. However, you need OSX to run an Iphone Simulator. An alternative would be to use a virtual machine with OSX installed. It is not recommended though.
Also, for IOS the build is different. It is not as simple as generating an apk and installing it on your phone. You will need itunes and a legit account to run it.

How to create and deploy IOS App from windows OS

I'm creating a mobile application. The requirement is that the mobile application should be deployed in Android as well as iOS. I'm able to create the application and deploy it into Android using Ionic. But how do I do that for iOS. Is there a way we can use the Ionic in Windows OS and create app that is compatible with iOS.
Similar to Android Developer Options, is there any settings in IOS phones that will enable us to deploy the IOS app and test it.
You can run Mac OS X on your Windows machine using VMWare player. try searching 'Mavericks Retail VMware Image' in google, you will get download links... Hope it helps.
You need XCode to deploy any IOS application. To get XCode, you need a Mac.
The closeset thing you can do is using RemoteBuild, but you stil need a Mac.
After installing it, you can launch a build directly from Visual Studio.
For more information and a detailed guide, you can follow this link: https://github.com/Microsoft/remotebuild
You need a macOS to test and deploy iOS application on App Store, You can't deploy application directly by using windows OS.
OR
If you want to deploy application using windows OS then you have to use any virtualization software like: Virtual Box,
vMware and install macOs.

Can ios simulator can be run in Windows

I m working on appium scripting for mobile application automation testing.
I m able to simulate android device using the emulator and run the script in the emulator.
Now my next task is to run in ios. Please let me know it is possible to do it in ios emulator in Windows machine. If so some headsup on it.
You can not. There are platforms like React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, etc which enables you develop iOS applications; but when it comes to debugging and deployment, you have to have a macOS, which in turn requires a Macintosh machine.
Yess you can use Remote simulator to windows by enabling it under
Tools >> Option >> Xamarin >> IOS setting >> Remote simulator to windows.
But you still need active mac agent connection to build your app
You can use Appium studio free community edition for testing iOS physical device from windows machine.
note:- I have tested appium studio personally and think it will be useful for others.

The device version (2.1.0.1753) does not support the API level (Blackberry Native SDK 10.2)

I have blackberry playbook with OS. Version 2.1.0.1753 i have connected with WIFI. Now when i run project it will start executing project into my playbook
but every time i got below error
Then i click on update the project's API level
Then i click ok button i got below dialog box
I do not know what should i have to do, Do i need to install all API for example
10.1, 10.0
I don't know if you have already found the solution for your problem but personally I'm using a different Blackberry NDK for Playbook development: Link to Playbook NDK
As far as i've been told the playbook os is pretty different from the blackberry z10/q10.
Playbook is 2.x and z10 is 10.0/.1/.2
Momentics is only suitable for 10.1
For publishing to playbook youll need the playbok "tablet" sdk
https://developer.blackberry.com/playbook/native/download/
Also i've been told NOT to install both sdks on the same machine. as """because weirdness happens when you have both tablet and bb10 sdks installed. it's nominally "not a bug", but merely "unsupported". """
