I am very new to iOS development. I want to communicate with RN52 chip over Bluetooth through my iOS app using Serial Port Communication. Can any one tell me how to implement this? Or is their any tutorial which will help me?
Do I need MFi certificate for this?

My app needs to communicate with an android app via classic bluetooth.
We have implemented bluetooth socket in android application. Now i have to connect to the bluetooth service created by this app using uuid.
I have read various post related to this topic, but couldn't find a solution.
Any help will be appreciated.
Q1) Can we connect to iOS app to bluetooth socket created by an android app ?
I have read about Gamekit but it can be used only for communication between two iOS devices only.Correct me if I am wrong.
Q2) Can i use External Accessory framework ?
NOTE:- We are not using BLE in our apps.
I'd like to know if there is a way to send some data from my iphone to my apple tv.I'll explain:I want to make an app for my apple tv and extend this app to my iphone.Using the extension in running on the iphone you should send some data to my app in running on my apple tv.Sending data it should not be through wi-fi but using for example the bluethoot. How should I do to build this comunication? Can you explain to me how to do or link me some resources? Thanks to all!
Ps. sorry for my english!
The MultipeerConnectivity framework should allow you to do this. It's available in the SDK and supported by both tvOS and iOS.
The advantage is that you don't have to chose what type of connection the devices use. It supports both WiFi and BT. But if you don't want to use WiFi because wifi is not available, it can by default create a peer to peer wifi network between devices.
https://developer.apple.com/reference/multipeerconnectivity
And also, here https://www.hackingwithswift.com/example-code/system/how-to-create-a-peer-to-peer-network-using-the-multipeer-connectivity-framework is a good tutorial.
I have created universal device application to transfer any kind of files via bluetooth using GameKit Framework.
My question is how to create on Desktop Application with same process or there any Framework? That can communicate also on the device. Can i have any sample please or tips how to do it.
There is Core Bluetooth that used low energy protocol. But i don't know how?
Anyone please give some idea or anything that i can use it.
Thank you
The Bluetooth functionality of the GameKit framework is iOS-only (see GKSession), so you won’t be able to use that on a Mac.
The CoreBluetooth framework on the other hand is available on both Mac and iOS devices supporting Bluetooth LE, with the one difference that the CBPeripheralManager is not available on Mac, so you can’t advertise a service on Mac. However you can have your iOS device act as a peripheral and connect from the Mac acting as a central. Data transfer should still work both ways.
The BTLE Central Peripheral Transfer sample code should be a good starting point.
I'm searching a new way to sync data between iOS devices connected to the same Wi-fi network.
My app uses iCloud to sync its CoreData UIManagedDocument, but iCloud latency is too big for my goals.
Is there some way to connect iOS devices in the same Wi-Fi network with the iOS SDK? Any ideas?
Thanks
Any two IP-capable devices can connect to each other using BSD sockets - I've written an Objective-C wrapper to facilitate networking operations like this - here it is.
From iOS 7, you should look into the Multipeer Connectivity Framework. It allows connections between iOS devices on the same Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth personal area network, and the API is extremely simple to use.
You can use Gamekit to connect with both WiFi and Bluetooth and send data back and forth.
There's an excellent but lengthy tutorial here http://www.raywenderlich.com/12735/how-to-make-a-simple-playing-card-game-with-multiplayer-and-bluetooth-part-1
you should be able to pick out all the connectivity bits.
Does iOS SDK provide a way to let iOS app talk to app running in OSX/Windows via usb cable connection?
Or, socket is the only option?
If you want to interact with an OS X program from iOS via USB, the PeerTalk lib seems to provide a convenient way to do so (without having to join the MFi program).
According to the github page, PeerTalk
Provides you with USB device attach/detach events and attached device's info
Can connect to TCP services on supported attached devices (e.g. an iPhone), bridging the communication over USB transport
Offers a higher-level API (PTChannel and PTProtocol) for convenient implementations.
[is] Tested and designed for libdispatch (aka Grand Central Dispatch).
It also
has successfully been released on both the iOS and OS X app store.
A great example is Duet Display which is a fantastic piece of software allowing you to use your iDevice as an extra display for your Mac using the Lightning or 30-pin cable. [...]
Communication via USB cable is possible but everything is under strict MFi NDA.

There are no fees to enter the program but you will have to fill out some 'paperwork'.
