Executable File in Xcode 6

I finished creating a basic mobile app on Xcode and I want to be able to generate an executable file (much like a jar executable) that has compiled all my related files and can launch my app on another computer without Xcode. I've looked at other resources online that have directed me to the picture below and I think the highlighted file is my executable (correct me if I'm wrong) but when I double click it I get an alert telling me that "this application is not supported on this type of Mac".
Any insight on how I can generate an executable or find one automatically generated by Xcode would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Blackberry : How to add external file in blackberry project and open it to device

I am a newbie to blackberry app development and want to add an external file(image, doc etc) in blackberry project and after generating output file, when i install it to device my file where extracted to any location. It is possible? n how?
plz somebody help me on it.
The following article describes how to add a file as a resource to your BB project;
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Add-plain-text-or-binary-files-to-an-application/ta-p/445098
Copying it from there once your application is installed, is just a matter of using the FileConnection API.
The supplied SQL demo does something very like this for the SQL database, so I would look at that sample for more.

Localized English launch image is not used

Somehow I can't seem to get my localized launch image to work.
In the root of my project folder I have a localized Default#2x.png with both an English and a Dutch version.
Somehow the Dutch version is shown in all situations.
I have other localised files that work all right (Root.strings, Localizable.strings, InfoPlist.strings) when using English language.
I've looked up several related questions, but found no answer. Tried deleting the file all together en adding them again. After localizing the file I added the right picture to the right folder using 'Show in Finder' on the English version.
Other answers suggest that there's another copy of Default#2x.png somewhere that's in the way, but I can't seem to find one.
When I look at my project folder in Finder, some folders seem recursive (repeat themselves) though.
Any help is appreciated.
Launch images can not be localized. See the app programming guide:
All launch images (...) must reside in the top level of your app's bundle directory.

Get apk file icon, version, name in delphi

Is there a way I can get application name, application version and application icon, for the package that is not yet installed by delphi?
*.apk files are basically zip files, so you can have a look at the single resources at least to get the app icon. The ApplicationManifest.xml is howewer compiled into some binary format, so this might be a bit harder to decode (but there are answers that show code for that task as well here: How to parse the AndroidManifest.xml file inside an .apk package).

Access apps with AppleScript

Is there anyway to programmatically get a list of iOS apps from iTunes?
AppleScript does not seem able to do this.
The only way I can think of is looking in the 'iTunes Media/Mobile Applications' folder. But this way a lose all metadata.
Any suggestions to get list of iOS apps including the metadata?
Thanks
I now actually went with the solution to scan the 'Mobile Applications' folder.
In order to get the metadata I had to do the following:
the *.ipa are simply archives
unzip/extract the 'iTunesMetadata.plist' inside
parse the plist
voila you got all metadata
This whole process is actually pretty straightforward in python as your already have both zipfile and plistlib.
One thing to lookout for though is that plistlib in python can not handle the new binary plist files. So you first have to convert them to their corresponding xml format. (only some *.ipa seem to be in binary form).
This can be done quite easily with the following line of code:
os.system("/usr/bin/plutil -convert xml1 %s" % file_name )
Now the only thing I still have to figure out is how to get the currently installed apps on the device...
