Now I am developing an app on iOS, I need the pagecurl effect, but the all source code I found was full screen! However, I only need the partial screen, not full screen. So I need to know how to do it!
Could anybody provide an example for me?
There's a good reference on the different forms of Modal Views contained in iOS, including the partial page curl, here: on Tim Neill's blog.

I am currently trying trying to implement an Action Extension that transforms content on a Safari web page through Google's Translation API.
My issue is that I would like to display some UI on the screen without covering the whole screen, but no matter what I do that doesn't seem to work.
I have tried the following:
Setting this in the info.plist
<key>NSExtensionActionWantsFullScreenPresentation</key>
<false/>
Trying to change the content size in the interface builder to the following
https://imgur.com/a/gfYvFiD (Uploading images through stack isn't working for some reason)
Giving the UI a clear background color (always ends up being grey after the presentation is complete)
Setting the presentation style to be over current context.
Now i have seen a similar question where the accepted response was that it cannot be done due to Apple restrictions (https://stackoverflow.com/a/38764183/10058854), but I have seen some apps that seem to do it.
For example, iTranslate:

The above 2 images clearly show that they have created an Action Extension and that the added UI is just the bar at the bottom of the web view.
Any help would be much appreciated, and thank you for reading this.
I am very new in iOS development and wanna make design similar to my Android app.
below is the Image of Android App that I wanna replicate in iOS.
any help, source or reference would be appreciated.
Description:
Screen 1 : Screen one is main page with filter list on top (blue patch)
Screen 2 : By tapping change filter whole screen slides down and behind screen get visible (which holds filter)
Screen 3 : Highlighted part changes with other page on basis of menu selection.
sorry for bad English, but i hope you guys understand.
Thank you in advance
You can have two view controller screen(One Main Screen and another for Filter). There is no concept of fragments. What I prefer I used to have xib for reusable view and storyboard for creating activity like your Android. Code for the same will be done in ViewController.
I'm working on an iPad app in Xamarin that (among other things) will download PDFs from a file system and show them in a webview. When scrolling through the webview to read a PDF, I've been asked to keep the navigation bar at the top of the screen. It currently goes away once the user has scrolled down at all.
I searched for how to do this and for a question like this here, but did not find anything related to mobile development. I would think this is something others have tried, but perhaps this goes against Apple guidelines? If anyone has found something stating that, I'll take that as an answer or any sample code of an implementation of this would be greatly appreciated.
Create UIVIew and add there navigationBar. Under you navBar add webView. That's all.
Trying to develop a test app wherethe look is like ebook. user can flip the pages. However, app will have 40-50 pages to go through. Is there anyway to just update one view and even after re using you can easily turn it over and back. or do I have to create more views to achieve objective.
Can someone pls provide suggestion on which technique to use to solve this issue and also what to use for flipping like ebook?
Since you have tagged your question with iOS5 you can use a UIPageViewController (see also this one) to handle this behavior for you (datasource handling, gesture handling etc.). The logic behind it is that you provide an array of view controllers where each one controls and provides content for a page in your book.
One way is, please look in to "page base application". Please create a new project as page base application and work on that. You will find good amount of documentation online for this.
I'm having trouble with getting Page Control set up with multiple xib's. I searched on Stack on the internet for a while now but all I've been getting is getting Page Control set up with an Array with colors or images. Is it possible to get a UIScrollView with PageControl for multiple View Controllers? I'm thinking that I should use (initwithNibName: method), but I'm not sure on how to set it up with the scrollview. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Yes, it is possible. Check this very useful library out. It's an iPhone UIScrollView with horizontal paging like mobile Safari tabs HGPageScrollView.
It works pretty great in our app.
GitHub HGPageScrollView.
