I have set my application permissions as "read, Write, Direct Messages" as shown in the figure
I have saved these settings.
But when i authenticate my app. it shows that my application will not be able to access direct messages.As shown in the figure
Please help me, i am stuck with this problem from many days.

You need to call Authorize Url. This issue can apear if you call "Authenticate Url".
if you have changed your settings you'll need to regenerate the keys

I am working on an Angular 7 application that uses GraphAPI. I am trying to create an online meeting from this application.
Each time I send a POST request I get 'Forbidden' as response. I have used apis's with Delegated permission before and it works.
Since online meeting requires 'Application Permission' I am not sure where to specify it. Could anyone help me with this?
You specify the permissions in App Registration > your app > settings.
You have a problem with the way you are trying to access the token. I used to get the same error however, got resolved by passing userName and Password as well in the auth request and using grant_type as password.
Using the Graph API we are already successfully retrieving calendar views for a user's calendar (on behalf of the user). Now users would also like to be able to retrieve room calendars. So I tried the following:

App permissions and OAuth2 scopes are set to: openid email profile offline_access https://graph.microsoft.com/Calendars.Read https://graph.microsoft.com/Calendars.Read.Shared https://graph.microsoft.com/User.Read https://graph.microsoft.com/User.ReadBasic.All https://graph.microsoft.com/User.Read.All, so that should not be an issue.
Am I doing something wrong or is this simply not supported?
https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/users/room1#ourdomain.com/calendarView is the approach I've used successfully. I had an issue with permissions and gave my app every permission in Azure, and it worked for me. I can't help with which specific permissions it is, but for testing this is how I resolved an issue I had.

For your current question: Obviously you did wrong or the Service - side temporary exception. The api is supported.
You should provide the code you have used, and based on the code, we can check what is wrong on your side.

I specifically need Groups.ReadWrite.All which requires an admin ? requirement I am not sure what this even means.

Okay App is registered and redirect url has been copied.
Now I take that redirect url copy it and paste it into the admin panel for apps. At this link at App Registrations

I am not sure why I have to register in two different panels, one which gives me a redirect url for my native app and the other that leaves it blank.
Great So then I setup my iOS app to make a graph request. This scope

I need to readwrite groups so I add this permission

It fails to authenticate.

Unable to Complete Request Validation Error, then doesn't do anything.
I tried to add a non admin permission same error.
So what is going on here ... ?
So even though they told me use the Graph API from now on moving forward in the docs I tried to go back to their office 365 SDK for iOS, it also has problems as I cannot get the pods to work as per instructions.
I am 100% sure after this issue is resolved I will need permissions
Note: I work at as a consultant for a bank so if someone can tell me what the azure administrator at the bank has to do to get my permissions escalated to admin status that would be great....

Those are 2 different registrations,
Per this documentation (https://graph.microsoft.io/en-us/docs/authorization/auth_overview), for personal accounts like live.com or outlook.com, use the Azure AD v2.0, and for the enterprise, use the Azure AD.
So, for your case, I believe you need the latter, the azure AD.
For this to happen, as you said, go https://portal.azure.com/ and add the app registration.
In order to do so, you would need to
select "Azure Active Directory" and go "App registrations".
Once you create an app, you would need to select "native" for the iOS, and then under app access, under "required permissions" add "Microsoft Graph" followed by selected permissions you would like.
To answer the note, you would need permissions to create an app at the portal, otherwise, you would need to ask for that permission or have the admin create an app for you.

I'm trying to use the Google Calendar API in one of my projects. To do so, I need to set up OAuth access in the Google API console.
But when creating the consent-form (which is required to use OAuth), I get a meaningless error message:
The translation is as follows:
A problem occured. Please check your data and try again . If you have
not given any details, the problem may solve itself . In this case, we
recommend that you wait and try again later.
I have set the E-Mail address and project name. The optional fields were left blank.
So far I have not been able to solve the problem. I tried to wait for hours/days. I tried three different browsers. I also tried to contact Google support. All without success.
After days of trying, this is the solution:
Create another Google account
Using your old account, add the new account as an owner to your Google API project in the console
Log in with your new user account and accept the invitation
Create the OAuth consent form with the new user account
I have no idea WHY this worked, but it did.
I need to use Twitter Oauth to login my windows phone app,
What i need exactly is
1)when the user click twitter log in button from my app, i need to show the twitter llog in page in a browser,
2)when he enters his credentials and accept the app, then i should get the user information like, name, gender, bday, what ever i can take.
That,s it, then i can close the browser and make my app active.
I just need to make the user to log in via twitter.
I referred lot of examples, that are all quit confusing and doing all the stuffs in twiiter.

I tried this example and got success, I contacted the person who have posted that example and got help from him to solve the issues raised from this example.
Actually this Example works fine for twitter integration,
What you have to do is
1)Register your app in twitter, here the link for app registration,
log in and register your app.
2)Make sure you have given the Call Back URL(i forget to give that, and that makes me face lot of issues)
3)Note down the Consumer Key, Consumer Secret and Call back url(we need specify this 3 in our code)
4)Go to Settings, and set your app access to Read and Write
5)down load the above link and change the Consumer Key, Consumer Secret and Call back url as per your app, and then run the example, it will work fine.
