Taking screenshot in WP7 Emulator does not refelct the current screen - windows-phone-7.1

When taking screenshot of WP7 Emulator the current screen that is being displayed in the emulator does not get reflected in screenshot, instead the screen viewed in emulator few minutes before (which is not the current screen) gets reflected.
Even performing refresh is not helping to capture the screenshot of current screen
I want to capture the screenshot of current screen being viewed in emulator. Is there any way to do it?

If you are using the Windows Phone Emulator, why not just use the built in Screenshot capture feature?
Just move the mouse above the Emulator to show the side menu on the right, then click the bottom "ยป" option and click on Screenshot tab.

What is the tool that u r using to take a scree shot?? I always use snipping tool and i have never had any problem with the screen shots i have obtained. I suggest you to use snipping tool to take wp7 screen shots.

How to zoom in iOS Simulator more than 100%?

I'm working on my project and use Xcode iOS simulator.
I want to zoom in more than 100% for iPhone 5/5s screen size, but the maximum is just 100%. I use retina display 13'' Macbook, so I can't see every details what is going on the screen.
Is there any solution to solve this problem?
You can't zoom more than 100%.
One idea if you wanna see some deeper details of one specific UI you can take a screen shot of the 100% zoomed screen by pressing/going to
command + s or File > Save Screen Shot
and then Zoom it as deep as you want.
There's 4 stages of zoom by pressing cmd + 1,2,3,4 that's all you can do for zooming with only simulator.
In case if Window - Zoom menu item is disabled for you, uncheck Show Device Bezels.
Just take a screenshot and then zoom on it.

Is there a way to show the entire simulator screen?

This is what the screen displays on my MacBook. After I updated Xcode, it changed from showing the entire screen of the device to showing part of the screen. I now have to scroll to see everything that would be displayed on the screen.
Bring the simulator app to the front, select the window menu, and choose scale. Pick progressively smaller scales values until the whole simulator fits on your screen. (It should really have a "fit to screen" option, but it doesn't.)
You can resize simulator using
command+1
command+2
command+3
if it doesn't fit.. u will need a bigger screen.

How to stop iOS simulator hiding xcode

I am trying to follow some tutorials online. Every time i run the iOS simulator my xcode seems to minimise and focus goes to the simulator on the desktop
Is it possible to stop this and have the simulator load on top of the Xcode window?
Thanks
Focus will switch over but Xcode itself doesn't minimise. However, if you're running Xcocde full screen (you have clicked on the <-> arrow in the top right of the screen) then you will switch to a different screen - this is standard behaviour for all maximised apps. Clicking on the green full screen icon in Xcode will make the window take up all available space but without taking a separate screen, which will give the behaviour that you want -- though note this is for 10.9; I seem to recall that clicking the green button on later versions of OSX may automatically trigger the full/separate screen mode.

Blackberry Simulator Issues

When I run my BlackBerry simulator only the screen appears, without the surrounding area looking like a device. Why doesn't it look like the actual device?
you can get that by doing this way
There would be an option View in the simulator go and uncheck the LCD ONLY option then you can view the full phone .
The same in my configuration. Use View-Graphics acceleration-Medium quality and you'll see the simulated device image.

iPhone app loading

When I load my iPhone app it always loads a black screen first then pops up the main window. This happens even with a simple empty app with a single window loaded.
I've noticed that when loading, most apps zoom in on the main window (or scale it to fit the screen, however you want to think about it) and then load the content of the screen, with no black screen (see the Contacts app for an example).
How do I achieve this effect?
Add a Default.png to your project. This should be the image you want shown instead of the black launch screen.
Also just to save you some time, there is no way to change this image during the runtime of your application. If you look at Apple's Clock application you can see how depending on the last state of the application, the Default.png changes. You cannot do this in your own app because of permission limits. Also, make sure to read the iPhone HIG for best practices on Default.png use, in short, dont use it as a splash screen like Twitteriffic.
You can also take a screenshot of your app as an aid to creating the Default.png - while holding the Home button, press and release the Lock Sleep/Wake button. The screenshot can be find in your Camery Roll library in the Photos app and can be synced back to your desktop.
When the app transitions from the launch image to the actual app content, it should not be jarring to a user - content (text/images) can be added to the screen, but content should never change. If all this leaves you with is an empty blue header, a white body, and a blue footer - then that's all you should have. If you have a persistent tab bar on the bottom & a localized app (different text descriptions), then then launch image should appear with icons but no text. (See Clock.app & Facebook.app for examples.)
Screenshots can also be taken in XCode using the Screenshot tab in the Organizer window and a plugged-in device.
