I have tried the Freebase MQL twitter search extension shown here:

and there appears to be an error. There is no documentation for this extension (at least I didn't find it). Could anyone tell me if there is?
Does anyone know if any of these extensions are being supported at all?
Unfortunately this is broken right now and I don't have time to debug. You should not depend on these extensions working on top of mql going forward, but at the same time copying the code and trying it by yourself is very easy in Acre - just sign-in and clone this app:

Its a web-based tool that lets web developers try out all of the APIs that Google provides, tweak the code, and see the results, I found it very useful.
But now when I try, I get redirected to API Explorer!
Has anyone got any ideas why?

I don't know why they changed it, but probably you will need to go to the specific API/product you're looking for and search there.
For example, I used to teach the Visualization APIs with the playground, but these seem to have been reclassified as a chart "product" with the interactive code editing now hosted through JSFiddle:

I searched for an answer to this, but perhaps the question is a bit too noob for this site--basically I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the different frameworks out there or even how to find what you need in a single framework. If I want to, say, find a way to fetch address book data into my app, how do I search for that? Is there some magic efficient way that everyone uses?
The xCode Organizer window has a documentation tab that you can search in. Put in a keyword and it will show you refrences, example code and what framework that class is in.
I'm not 100% sure this qualifies as an answer, but yep: Google for it. Whenever I want to learn about something new, I Google for (for example) "iOS Address Book Example". That seems to be the best way to find info on how to get into a new subject when you're not sure which framework to look in.
If you have an idea of which framework is appropriate, then the iOS documentation (both at developer.apple.com and built into xCode) is your friend.

I know it's just the same info you can see elsewhere, but at first glance at least the layout makes it all seem more managable.
I'm currently integrating Open Feint X in my iOS project, with a custom store, trying to synchronize data between OFX servers, to download new contents... and all I have to do it is their sample application, with no comment, and a very basic API...
Would anyone have some clues to give, maybe a useful link that Google did not reveal to me, or anything that could help me to understand which functions I should call and where ?

I need a Twitter widget that isn't chunky and disgusting like the official one (http://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets/widget_profile) and more like this one on some guy's blog (http://kelwynshade.blogspot.com/).
I've checked his source, obviously - and it appears to be part of the Google Friend Connect service, which seems like it aims to solve a lot of problems I just don't have. And by that I mean it's bloated as hell.
Please advise.
Okay, ultimately I determined that I had enough CSS control over the stock widget to make do. If anyone has a better solution though I'd still like to hear it.
