I am building an application that allows to access/view user reminders in iOS, via the EventKit, and having issues figuring out how can I check if a reminder item has a linked item attached to it (such as an email)
Normally, these are created by using Siri - such as, "Hey Siri, remind me about this message".
Once a reminder is created this way, a little "mail" icon appears next to the reminder in Apple's Reminders app - I can click on that icon it it would transport me to the linked item (email in this case).
However, when I get a list of reminders (EKReminder objects, via EKStore's fetchReminders) in my app, I can't figure out how to access that information (such as, does a reminder item have a linked Siri object associated with it at all? And if so, how to access it in a way so that I could display a button in my app, clicking on which would open that linked object?)
It doesn't look like that information is even a part of the EKReminder/EKCalendarItem/EKObject structure… Where does it come from?
Thanks!

I wonder that if i can set custom title in SKStoreReviewController?
I read the apple document and search a lot in google
But I didn't find solution
What can I do if I want to implement the pop view like image above
No, you can't do it with SKStoreReviewController. Some apps make a custom one but can't send the ratings to the App Store.
According to Apple Documentation:
The SKStoreReviewController API lets you give users an easy way to
provide feedback about your app. You can prompt for ratings up to
three times in a 365-day period. Users will submit a rating through
the standardized prompt, and can write and submit a review without
leaving the app.
It means you can only show a standardized prompt. However, you can create a custom prompt and redirect the user to your app in the app store.
Is there a URL to open the contacts application from within my application? I know you can achieve this with the settings app by using the UIApplicationOpenSettingsURLString constant in Swift; however, I wasn't sure if I could do the same with the Contacts app.
There isn't a deep link for opening the Contacts App.
Apple is very picky when it comes to deep-linking. They have to provide one for Settings since many apps need services like Data, Location, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.
Unfortunately they do not extend this to the Contacts App.
However if your app needs contact information then for that Apple has provided a Contacts framework to browse through your contacts within your app itself.
Read more about it here.
In order to add/update/delete/merge contacts directly from your app without using the Apple's Contact UI, use the CNSaveRequest APIs. More on that here.
The closest thing you can get to opening a contact is to write them a message in IMessage. From this screen the user can press the contact icon and open the contact page for that particular contact.
You can do this by opening the url sms://+44776382223 where the number is the number of the person that you would like to view the contact of.
I have an app where you can have your favorite restaurant listed and add their details like name, image, comment, rating, etc.
Now I need to support a feature of share restaurant what I am doing right now is I am storing the data to Firebase so that data can be shared.
What I would like to do is I want to create a link for the same.. which will be sent in the iMessage when clicked on share button and then when the person with whom I shared my restaurant detail clicks on the link in the iMessage I want to open the app in his device ?
So that I can load data of the restaurant from firebase and show them in the app.
P.S. the app is actually offline that is not storing on the server. Just to support the above feature I am sending data to firebase. so that I can retrieve it !
You can use firebase dynamic links for that:
https://firebase.google.com/docs/dynamic-links/?authuser=0
You can also send some parameters in the dynamic link.
Google Analytics is showing message "Bad Event Tracking Code" for several my projects. Even for mobile app profile too.
"The message: "The Landing Pages report has a (not set) entry. Verify that tracking code for property (my app name) sends a _trackPageview hit and that it does this before sending any events."
Has somebody got similar issue?
and how to solve this issue because I read about this and can't figure out what is wrong.
I think an issue with you tracking code that have to generate with you google analytics account Here it is step by step description about how to Setting Up Google analytics for Your App
step:1
Go to www.google.com/analytics. The homepage should appear like so:
step:2:
If you do not have a Google account, you will need to create one now by selecting Create an Account on the top-right side of the page.
or sign in in this page.
Once you have logged in, you simply need to click the Access Google Analytics button on the top right.
Step:3
The first screen you see lists all of your accounts.
If you have clients, typically you will have one account set up for each.
If you are new to Google Analytics you will only have the first account you set up.
step:4
Select the Admin view on the top right.
To see the main dashboard area for managing your Accounts, Properties, and Views.
step:5
Select the Property drop-down and click on the Create new property item, like so:
step:6
Google then asks you to submit the details for the app you want to track.
Make sure to choose Mobile app at the top and enter the information as required.
In the Setting up your property section, enter "Cloud App" for the App Name.
step:7
After accepting the terms of service, the website takes you to a page with your tracking ID and the download link for the SDK.
Before you do anything else, write down your app’s Tracking ID, which will be of the form ID UA-XXXXXXXX-Y.
Keep the ID handy, because you will need it soon. For full of description please visit raywenderlich blog
I have received similar errors. However, after testing and checking all the tags, all seem to be in order. I read on PBS that these are false positive alerts, where the errors in fact in correct.

How do I trigger a programmatic post to a specific person's Facebook wall so that it looks like this (but replace GO TRY IT ON with my app):
I do not want this to be a generic post to the world. I want this targeted to the specific user's wall whom I specify. I want to include a specific message. I already have social discovery for my app enabled (meaning that I can see my app when I search facebook on my iPhone, and I see it in my list of apps such that I can tap the row and launch my app from facebook).
Looks like you want to familiarize yourself with the concept of the Open Graph -> https://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/
product is obviously an object defined in that apps open graph settings, and suggesting is an action that can be undertaken with products.
So what you've shown us in this picture is not a normal post, it's the publication message of an Open Graph action.
But I'm not aware of any simple way to make this publication visible only to one user. The general visibility is set by the user in the auth dialog for your app. I don't know if there's a way to further restrict visibility for a single action publication, maybe by dynamically creating a friendlist with only that one user in it or something …
