Can't run Xcode simulator - ios

I am running Xcode 9.1 and recently rebooted my computer. Prior to rebooting I could run the simulator with no problems. After rebooting I get this message.
"Enter the name and password of a user in the developer tools group"
I am running this on my own personal machine (provided by my school) and should have administrator access with my login.
I have looked at other posts relating to this message and attempted the following solutions to no avail.
When I run "DevToolsSecurity ~enable" it tells me that developer mode is already enabled.
When I run "sudo dscl . append /Groups/_developer GroupMembership myUserName"
I got a message saying my user name was not in the subdoers file.
I am at a total loss on how to resolve this problem and admit that I am not a professional programmer. I am just a guy who is trying to figure out how to write some basic apps using Xcode. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Everything about what you’ve written indicates that you do not have administrative access to your machine. You can confirm this from System Preferences -> Users & Groups or checking the output of running ‘id’ from Terminal (you’ll probably not see the admin group listed).

Automation Anywhere - task won't execute on logged off state

I have already set up the auto-login settings and checked the bypass legal disclaimer. I am getting this message: AAE was unable to unlock or logon onto the machine xxxx
-AAE Auto Login Service is running
-It only works in locked state. This previously worked and noticed it wasn't when I changed my windows password (password updated in auto-login settings).
-I also ran the Auto-Login diagnostic utility I found in their website --no issue
-We are using AAE 10.5 on Windows Server 2012 R2.
Your feedback will be very much appreciated.
Restarting the machine solves the auto-login issue. But need to find a workaround as we don't want to restart the server every time we change passwords.

Stop GitKraken asking for login credentials

GitKraken has successfully cloned a repository hosted on Team Foundation Server, but on subsequent fetch and push it asks for login information. Even when provided it will ask again, offering no error or explanation. "Remember me" is checked.
Everything works perfectly fine using the cmd.
Note that the issue occurs on a virtual machine. I have tested interacting with the repository on my physical machine using GitKraken - no problem there. However, I have previously experienced the same type of problem with other projects on my physical machine. Seems GitKraken sometimes has problems with TFS, but not sure.
I have tried reinstalling GitKraken, but it didn't resolve the issue. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I am using GitKraken 3.3.3 - recently upgraded, but issue still occurs.
TFS is version 15.117.26714.0 and using the web portal does not give me problems. I login once like normally.
When cloning a GitHub repo everything is working properly. However, when attempting to clone a TFS repo from Visual Studio I get an unauthorized error. (TF30063). I assume it could be related to the Active Directory settings not set up properly because of the Hyper-V setup I am using. Will investigate further and provide more details here.
After using \domain\username instead of just username as login credentials to TFS everything is working.
Using only the username will work on my physical machine as that machine is recognized on the domain, but as the virtual machine is not, the domain is required.

Windows10 internet connection problems after restarting. No hardware devices connections found

Yesterday was 13th, probably well known virus caused crash of internet connection and Windows 10 functions. I could not use keyboard and mouse either to restart or to repair Windows10 with advanced options. With installation USB program started but with bugs and no internet connections was available since no hardware devices found.
The freeware tool cFosICS manages Windows Internet Connection Sharing. It comes with additional commands to fix the Windows 10 bug which may stop Internet Connection Sharing from working after a reboot.

I checked status on cmd with configip/all and got answer IP routing is disabled. So I went to device manager I looked in help how to connect to internet. In Microsoft Management Console/Contents/Get Connected/ there is Connecting to the Internet procedure.
I used Get-NetAdapter. t-NetAdapter: Cannot connect to CIM server error. The service can not be started, either because it is disabled or because another software installation is in progress. Same with Test-Configuration command. The error means: „Cannot connect the computer to the server because of restart pending.
The simple is to use Microsoft Virtual Agent which will with your problem question and it will guide it through steps needed to solve problem. It also recommednds cmd commands as referred above. In my case I had to update Windows10 with formed USB key.

WARNING! ejabberd can not start Admin user is not created Please check your configuration

My title is my "error" that I am facing in the Terminal when setup the ejabberd.
What I did.
Download package from this website and choose Mac OS X Intel Installer.
I'm following this tutorial.
Where I'm reach at /Applications/ejabberd-16.06/bin by Terminal.
And run ./postinstall.sh cesare jerry.local password
And got below error message in terminal.
WARNING ! ejabberd can not start Admin user is not created Please check your configuration
But I know there is instruction that 'postinstall.sh' script, which has to be run right after the installation to create the admin user.
So For create admin user I go on official site of ejabberd.
But there I can't understand 5th step and my registering process alway in progress .
In short how can I create admin user or how can I remove WARNING from the terminal?
COMMENT : After couples of the days, I found that instead of insall ejabberd with Operating System Specific Packagesr you should try to install ejabberd with Binary Installer.
You do not need to run postinstall.sh script as it is already run by the installer and create the admin user for you. If you have had no error message from the installer, you should already be set. You can just call ejabberd start script.
Please make sure that you also approve listening on ports if OSX firewall ask you to authorise it. Ensure also that the user installing ejabberd has admin rights.

Windows Service Install Ends in Rollback

When I try to install a Windows service:
c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\installutil
I get, what looks to be, some success messages and some failure messages. Part way down:
An exception occurred during the Install phase.
System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The specified service has been marked for deletion
At the end:
The Rollback phase completed successfully.
The transacted install has completed.
The installation failed, and the rollback has been performed.
The service is given an entry in the Services applet, but it is marked as "Disabled". When I attempt to change it to another state, I get a "marked for deletion" error message.
There are no messages in the Event Log. There is nothing useful in the log file created by installutil.exe (I believe it's written to the current working directory).
I have no direction to go with this. What do I do?
It turns out that the install might, or probably will, fail if that service is highlighted in the Services applet. It's safest to just close the Services applet, install the service, and then re-open the Services applet. It's really stupid.
Also, make sure to run the console as admin.
I experienced the same and the issue for me was that a service with the same name was already installed. So in order to install the new service I had to uninstall the older services. I am learning how to create and setup windows services and thus the naming conflicting. Tried uninstalling the service first through:
c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\installutil -u servicename.exe
Once this statement executes successfully, install your service and it should succeed without any rollbacks.
Right Click on Command Prompt and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
Then copy and paste in: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe C:\TestService\bin\Debug\TestService.exe
Result in TestService.InstallLog is:
Installing service TestService...
Service TestService has been successfully installed.
Some times this happens due to permission issues.
Run the "Developer Command Prompt for VS 2012" as Administrator.
Then it will work.
Adding few more check's and points to solve this above issue.
Build service in release mode and take release folder files and kept in different path
Copy that path and go to visual studio command prompt window and run this bellow sample command to install the service.
Please close services.msc window if its opened , then run C:Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0>InstallUtil.exe C:\RunLocationServices\TestService.exe
Go services.msc and select that service and click on start ,if it changed to "started" then your service running fine.
Still if issue exists then
Another Checkpoint & SOLUTION
When a service starts, the service communicates to the Service Control Manager how long the service must have to start (the time-out period for the service).
If the Service Control Manager does not receive a "service started" notice from the service within this time-out period,
the Service Control Manager terminates the process that hosts the service.
This time-out period is typically less than 30 seconds.
If you do not adjust this time-out period, the Service Control Manager ends the process.
To adjust this time-out period, follow these steps:
1.Go to Start > Run > and type regedit
2.Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
With the control folder selected, right click in the pane on the right and select new DWORD Value
3.Name the new DWORD: ServicesPipeTimeout
4.Right-click ServicesPipeTimeout, and then click Modify
Click Decimal, type '180000', and then click OK
5.Restart the computer
Still if issue exists then problem in your service code ,infinate loop may occur due to your methods/classes of service calling. Do code review of each line.
This problem is due to security, you'd better open developer command prompt for VS 2012:
RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
and install your service. It will surely fix your problem.
I tried and the issue was resolved.
