I am building and running an app to my iPhone but after it compiles I get a pop up error from Xcode "App Install failed: Could not inspect the application package."
After getting the error, the console does not have any errors. The app works in the simulator but not when I send it to my phone. I have tried the following solutions:
Cleaned the package
Deleted Derived Data
The name of the app does not have any non Roman characters
I have not copied any files into my application
There is no precompiled code.
Updated Provisioning Profiles
Entitlements match in the provisioning profile
Got new iOS Development and iOS Distribution Certificates
Updated Developer ID Application and Developer ID Installer
Restarted both iPhone and Macbook Pro
I am using Xcode 7.0 on a Macbook Pro running 10.10.5 with an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.0.2
Any Ideas?
Thank you!
This can happen with Xcode 7 and iOS 9 if a product name contains non-latin characters. In this case changing product name to the one with only latin characters for debug builds fixes this problem.

I am trying to run my app on a physical device. The applicaiton builds but it doesnt deploy my app to the device.
I get this following error:
This operation can fail if the version of the OS on the device is incompatible with the installed version of Xcode. You may also need to restart your mac and device in order to correctly detect compatibility.
Details:
I have xcode version 13.2.1
device is iphone 11 pro max with ios version 15.6 installed.
I tried to upgrade my xcode to 13.4.1 but on app store there is no button that indicates that i can upgrade.
Things I have tried:
restarting mac
restarting iphone device
closing and reopening xcode
cleaning project and rebuilding.
Any help will be appreciated.
Download xCode 13.4.1 directly using the link
https://download.developer.apple.com/Developer_Tools/Xcode_13.4.1/Xcode_13.4.1.xip
I tried to build and distribute couple of Adhoc distribution build with bit code and without bitcode .. and generated build on both Diawi and installonair anyway the link installed on 2 devices without any problems. 1. iphone x - ios 14.1 and iPhone 6s - ios 14.2 but it's not installing on my manager's iPhone xs - iOS 14.2 :(. I am receiving following message on his phone "Unable to install - This app cannot be installed because its integrity could not be verified. I think this problem happens only after I updated to Xcode 12.2 and I am still running on macOS catalina version 10.15.7.
Remove anything you have in embedded framework and archive it again, It worked for me. I had Pods framework of my own project that generated by automatically after I removed that and archive again it worked. And also I used fresh distribution certificate and bundle identifier. Hope it will helps for some developers.
I was facing similar problems.
Enterprise app:
installing smoothly from the current server.
Change the server and some user-facing this problem.
Solving methods:
Update the version number of the app.
Change the build number of the app.
Its working fine.
I have built a Cordova app, I've recently been able to build the app and run it on my phone prior to adding a new paid Apple Developer account to Xcode (not a Personal Team account).
Since adding this account, I am encountering the issue where the app will successfully build, but won't launch on the iPhone, it will continuously close every time I tap the app icon, in addition the error I get in Xcode is:
iPhone has denied the launch request.
Internal launch error: process launch failed: Unspecified
I'm running Xcode 10.2.1, building to an iPhone 6S Plus running iOS 12.4 (the latest), and am using Cordova 8.0.0
I've tried deleting the Apple Worldwide certificate, adding a new account, adding a new user to the system, restarting the machine, changing the Bundle Identifier.
Inside of the signing tab in general I have:
Team: [name of team]
Provisioning Profile: Xcode Managed Profile
Signing Certificate: iPhone Developer: [name of person] ([some ID])
In addition, I have currently got the following command: cordova run ios --buildFlag='-UseModernBuildSystem=0'
But the build system shouldn't matter here.
EDIT
Updating to Xcode 10.3 doesn't solve the issue.
i send an ipa distribution enterprise, when the client try to installed it on a iphone with last version 12.1.2 he got this error :
translation : ipa was not installed on the iphone because it does not work with this version of ios
i add udid iphone on console apple developper, also i tested ipa on my device with version ios 9 and it's work
how can i resolve this error please ?
As #Paulw11 Said i had to upload my xcode from 9 to 10, and export again this resolve my problem
I installed the latest osx security update (https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT207130) and tried to archive an update for my ios app. The archive was successful. However, after uploading the build to itunes connect with the Application loader, I received the following email :
When trying to submit my app for review I got this other error message :
I am clearly not running any beta build of macos or xcode. Here is my setup : OSX El Capitan 10.11.6, Xcode 7.3 (7D175)
Any one having the same issue? How did you get around this?
Since there have been many errors at iTunes Connect which Apple still can't solve on macOS Sierra (10.12) when uploading archives(build) of our applications,
You must use Xcode 8 no matter what on macOS Sierra
These are common errors that is happening when we upload our archive from Xcode 7.3.1 on macOS Sierra (10.12)
ERROR ITMS - 90163 (No.App bundle found)
Now your problem
Changing the build version or Xcode version from info.plist doesn't seen to worked. Believe me, I have tried many alternative hacking ways. Finally I gave up. Instead install Xcode 8 and Xcode 7.3.1 parallel on my mac because I am not ready for migration.
Archive your build from Xcode 7.3.1 and export it's ipa from App Store Release. Then, use Application Loader of Xcode 8 to upload your build to App Store.
Hope this help.
From this thread, try this:
I was able to submit without warnings or errors by digging into the
.xcarchive and modifying the info.plist of the app.
Change the key
<key>BuildMachineOSBuild</key>
<string>15G1004</string>
to the value for the original 10.11.6
<key>BuildMachineOSBuild</key>
<string>15G31</string>
Then export the IPA or submit to the app store as usual.
I didn't test so it could not fix your problem.
From this same thread, this seems to be a recurrent issue when Security Updates are released.
If #marco-santarossa's method does not work, you can wait for Apple to update iTunes Connect so that they accept the new OS build version, or contact support hoping they can speed this up.
I did and after a few hours the same build I had uploaded was submitted for review.
