As we know Xcode 6 provides a way to preview the layout of the storyboard in different devices at the same time. I know how to add a preview device, but how do I delete any of them? I found a question here, but still don't know where is the 'Preview panel' and cannot found the 'delete' button anywhere, anyone help? thanks.
That's actually the preview panel. To delete, select the preview layout that you don't want (Blue outline will appear around it) and just press the "Delete" button on your keyboard.

I use tabbed page and have way more than 5 items in my TabbedPage (15 of them). Now when each ContentPage I navigate to is in within first 4 items, my toolbar renders correctly, displaying the icon and allowing user to interact. The problem begins when I have to go to "... More" tab.
Once I select one of the ContentPages there I don't see the same Toolbar with ToolbarItems in it. Rotating the device to Landscape and back brings the ToolbarItems back.
I have scoured the internet looking for an answer but I can't find much about this particular issue.
Could y'all smart folks point me to a solution to my problem?
I made a simple test but did not reproduce your issue .
What is the version of Xamarin.Forms ? And What specific device did you test on ?
I am new to Xcode and have two questions.
Main.storyboard: I want to see the whole iPhone, but now 2/3 of the screen is a white background. How to fit it to show only the whole device ? link
I noticed that when I get an exception, there are some new windows opened in Xcode and I just can't get back to my previously opened stuff without manually closing these new windows and starting again which is pretty frustrating; how can I prevent it ?
Additional explanation: first problem
a) I set zoom and resize the window (upper image)
b) I click button in upper right corner (middle image)
c) Now I click this button once again to go back - but everything gets messed up and I need to manually resize it again here
I just want my device to be fixed as it is in AndroidStudio for example.
The solution for your first problem is like right click on the main.storyboard then you will see a menu of options where you can set the appropriate zoom level
Please provide some screenshots for the second problem.
I've been working on a couple of iOS action extensions for a while, but I have noticed an odd behavior I was wondering if anyone else saw. In short, after you install and turn the extension on from the share button menu and leave the menu, it disappears from the menu.
More specifically, when you first install the extension, you expect you have to press the share button, scroll the bottom bar menu (for the action extensions) all the way to the right, press the "More" button, toggle your extension on and then press done. At that point the icon for the extension will appear and you can use it. However, the next time you want to use the action extension, the icon will not appear and you have to repeat the process, even though when you look in the "More" menu, the toggle switches for your app are already flipped on.
I wish I could add images to further elaborate here, but I can't because of StackOverflow's rules.
I have not been able to find any information on this any where, so I was hoping someone here has noticed this behavior or not. Any help on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
This has been a bug in iOS 8.3, and has been acknowledged by Apple.
Fixed in iOS 9.

How to solve:
The new share extension is NOT visible in the default list, and is CHECKED in the “More…” list. Changing any of the switches and tapping Done will show the new share extension in the default list.
I am an iOS noob and I've gotten stuck while trying to do a tutorial from O'Reilly's headfirst iphone development 2e. The tutorial wants me to drag the picker to the placeholder menu as shown in the picture below--but I can't seem to make this menu visible in xcode.
What do I do to show the placeholder menu?
If I need to click the "Disclosure button" as suggested in an answer to this question, where do I find it in the interface? In the navigators? The utilities?
Here is my screen in xcode:
This guy seems to be having a similar problem How to add the Placeholder Window in Xcode (unanswered)
Your problem is that you have created your project with a storyboard. Storyboards do not have a File's Owner placeholder. Since you're a self-described noob, you should just start a new project and make sure you turn off the “Use Storyboard” checkbox when you are going through the new project wizard.
Right click or control click over the picker and that window should pop up. Then drag (not control drag) from the open circle up to file's owner.
I have xcode 4 and I see no way of launching library from IB. So I cannot add image buttons to my app. apple-shift-L didnt work and I dont see a tools menu option.
Anyway around this?
Can I programmatically add buttons?
The library in Xcode 4 is tricky to find and occasionally hidden.
In IB mode, make sure the right drawer is open, then look at the very bottom of it. There should be a small area containing the Library. If not, there should be 4 buttons at the very bottom of the right drawer. In order: "Piece of Paper", "Brackets", "Box", "Movie". Click the box to open the Library. Then drag to resize it to a humane height.
They moved it to View->Utilities->Object Library
