Advice on converting from Nested Listviews in JQueryMobile 1.4 - jquery-mobile

I found all this sample code using a listview and just adding nested <ul><li></li></ul> to it.
then you could click on the top level, and drill down to the next.
This seemed like a good way to navigate content that is structured in a hierarchical structure.
What is the suggested alternative in 1.4?

Vaadin Grid wrap labels in componentColumns

I'm currently working on a webapp project in Vaadin 10. On the main page there's an overview of your current chats. Each chat is displayed as a bubble looking like:
It contains an image and a label.
I placed the bubbles in a Grid to ensure fast loading and flexibility like this:
`Grid<VisualGroup> cloudGrid = new Grid<VisualGroup>();
cloudGrid.setWidth("100%");
cloudGrid.setHeight("100%");
cloudGrid.getElement().getStyle().set("border","white");
cloudGrid.addComponentColumn(VisualGroupComponent::new);
cloudGrid.setItems(groups);`
My problem is that the label does not wrap when I put the components in the grid. If I create the component independently the text wraps correctly like:
But if I use the grid like described above it looks:
Does anyone know how to get text wrapping working in ComponentColumns in Vaadin?
If anyone knows the exact attribute I need to overwrite to get just the wrapping working and not delete every thing else that would probably the best solution. But for now that is a workaround.

jQuery refresh of buttons that are multiple levels below accordion-set parent

I have multiple accordion-set's nested in side of each other, they make a types of multi-category sorted list. Anywhere from 3 to 5 steps into the accordion nests I can start having actual items (buttons), they are in reality stylized 'A' elements.
I'm able to get the nested accordion-sets to refresh on successful AJAX return, but can not seem to figure out how to get the buttons to refresh and take on the jQ mobile styling.
$('#main-market-list').find('div[data-role="collapsible-set"]').collapsibleset({refresh:true}); is what Im using for the accordion-sets, whats the button version of the same logic?
You could try $(".ui-page-active").trigger("create") to force JQM to restyle the entire page.So your buttons too will get styled along with accordion sets.
edit: you could try $('.button-class').button('refresh'); where button-class is the class name for the links which you would like to style.

JavaFX - button with hyperlink to another page

I want to make an application in JavaFX-2 based on two pages as "main" page and "extras" page. In the main page, I have added a Hbox function which includes a button named "extras". How do I define a second page and how can I set a hyperlink to the button (onMouseClicked event?), to refer to extras page? I could not find any examples on Mouse events related to this question. Thanks for help!
Take a look at the JFX Flow framework - it seems to have the functionality you are requesting, with back and forward navigation and transitions between scenes.
I created a simple wizard implementation in response to a forum post which helps perform some of this scene to scene style navigation. I also created a small sample of animating sliding panes of in and out of the screen which I also created earlier. The code for the two concepts is not linked together, but the code is pretty simple so, it wouldn't be hard to link it.
There is a large source of Canned animations in the FXExperience project as well as plently of inbuilt Transitions in JavaFX.

Jump to next searchable text.

I contribute to develop a wrapper for a bioinformatics program.
The program's output is quite long (dozens of pages if printed), but structured into sections.
I would like to add "next" and "previous" section buttons to facilitate jumping up and down in the output.
One way of doing this would involve parsing the complete output, adding "id" or "name" anchors and linking to neighboring sections using <a href="#section2"> type links. However, thats a pain in the butt to do, adds the potential of new bugs, and would slow down the display.
All sections start "in the same manner" (ie. if you control-F search for a specific text, you will jump to the next section). Is there an easy way of using the fact that all sections start with the same text to add links that will let you jump to the next one?
Cheers
Perhaps the jQuery ScrollTo plugin can help you. You could add the links you need for navigating by Javascript/jQuery after the page has loaded.

How can I add a drop down menu dynamically in the Fitnesse?

I want to embeded a drop down menu in my fitnesse page. The drop down menu should be created at the time of loading of web page. Is there any way we can embeded a HTML tags in fitnesse and create a drop down list.
Fitness wiki tables get translated into FIT tables. Even if you could add a dropdown (which I do not believe is possible). The converter would not know what to do with it and FIT (or SLIM) would not know how to parse it.
