I would like to know if Apple will allow reading the call log history database on iPhone in application that will be submitted to the App Store.
Any help is appreciated.
No, there is no supported method for accessing the call log on iOS devices, and no way you can achieve this or submit an app doing this to the App Store legitimately.
If it's an existing official documented API, you may use it. It's as simple as that.

I have currently working on react native ios app and for testing purpose i have submitted app on test flight mode in ios.
I have created session management with help of AsyncStorage this feature helpful still app will not updated, but after app updated AsyncStorage will dis-troy.
My question is that how to maintain app session storage after app will updated.
If any one have idea please answer this.
Thanks in Advance.
You can save login data directly in database (for example you can use something like Realm).
However pay attention on how you use AsyncStorage especially on Android (you probably don't want to have a "clear data" backup on Google, see this).
I have a task to access the system ringtones in my iPhone application. I want to know if it is possible to access them? If not, please explain the reason.
No it's not possible via the official SDK.
No, it is not Possible in iPhone, If you want to submit your app in app store.
I'd like to create a very simple app to block internet access for certain app's between 7PM and 7AM on my iPhone.
However the mobile phone & imessage should stay usable, so it's no airplane modus.
This is to have some "no notification time" and don't see for example new e-mails coming in.
Would this be possible to archieve? Can an app control this behaviour for other app's?
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers!
Best regards,
Koen
No, you cannot do that. Apple "sandboxes" apps so that they have no ability to change the behavior of other apps.
If you did find a way to do that, Apple would reject your app, and probably quickly update the OS to prevent whatever method you used to do it.
EDIT:
You might be able to find a way to do this for jailbroken devices, but obviously those can't be released to the App store.
First thing, Such Apps are not allowed to be published on App Store.
I have worked with private-apis, and i know that this is not possible with only private apis. This may be possible once after you jailbreak your phone + using private libs, and may be you can create tweaks for jailbreak to achieve this functionality.
I'm looking for a way to retrieve the UDID on devices running iOS 6+ (Enterprise deployment only - no app store limitations).
Calling the (now private) method uniqueIdentifier returns the 'vendorIdentifier' starting with 'FFFFFFF'. Unfortunately thats not what I want.
Any ideas? Is there another private method or something?
Thanks in advance.
I recommend you reading this article. To sum up:
The previously deprecated uniqueIdentifier now works like vendorIdentifier on iOS 7+, so it's no longer usable even for Enterprise Apps
OpenUDID cannot be shared between Applications on iOS 7+ and now can change. It's still usable but no longer recommended.
The vendorIdentifier hasn't changed, but it's not recommended for Enterprise Apps because it can change when updating the App.
The new advertisingIdentifier API is the way to go for new Apps. It's the same for all Apps and should not change frequently, but the user can reset it in the settings page.
Edit: Website udid.io obtains the real Device UDID instead of the obfuscated one if you need it for anything outside your App. If you need the UDID from within the App, see my answer above.
You can get a Unique UDID via this method using private api. Follow this link
Look for the code in accepted answer.
Sorry, but Apple warned it would be deprecated and it has been. I've had the same headache myself.
I can't help you identify the device in the same way Apple do, but you can always generate an unique UUID on app launch and stash that away in KeyChain. It won't be perfect, but it will persist between installations and will be unique to the device. As far as I know, that's the current solution
How to build an application which is capable of executing outside the sandbox in non-jail broken devices? Because I need to access the files and other informations like sms, call history etc ...
I'm afraid you will probably not be able to do this. The provided SDK, and terms of using the SDK do not allow you to operate outside of the sandbox.
Even if you were able to access the information, then the app would only ever be for your own use (unless you are an enterprise developer) as it would most likely get a rejection from the App Store approvals process.
The only access outside the sandbox that is allowed is mediated through Apple's SDK. You will only be able to access specific items, such as the Address Book or Photo library, through the iPhone OS framework.
If you have a more specific question about what you want to accomplish, perhaps we can answer based on what is currently allowed.
There's no method that I know of to perform access outside the sandbox that is defined by the iPhone SDK.
Even if there were, your app would not be available for non-jailbroken phones, as it wouldn't be approved by the app store.
