I have developed an app in j2me polish. This jar works perfectly fine on other devices. I want this exact app to work on blackberry. My app uses internet connection so I created 3 different jars for GPRS, WI-FI and BIS. These 3 work fine but I want only one jar that should connect directly to the available network. I tried HttpConnectionFactory, ConnectionFactory. But I am not able to compile properly as I am getting error in j2mepolish classes.
I am developing app in eclipse. Can I use app developed using j2me polish in blackberry device?

I am developing an application by using React-Native. My operating system is Windows 10. I want the application to be competible with both iOS and Android. I am using Expo for the development. In expo,
There are above choices, since I don't have an iOS simulator, the second choice gives an error. How can I install an iOS simulator to my computer?
As of now, you can not create a simulator inside windows but there are many browser-based iOS stimulations available you can use them.
one of them is Appetize.io here It is free for use but you have to upload your app manually. There are many other options available. read here.
I have created a mobile application for android and ios with Delphi XE5. I needed a custom component, so I created a package and I wrote my component. I wrote a windows application for testing my custom compnent and every thing is OK so far. I add an instance of my component on the Firemonkey mobile form in design time and it shows it correctly. But when I try to run app on IOS Simulator or Android emulator it crashes, I think the problem is caused by not deploying my package along with my app, but I don't know how should I include this package in my mobile app deployment. Any idea?
P.S I know how to deploy database files to Android and IOS
Run time packages are not supported under iOS. Just statically link your component to your application.
I'm building an air application (using adt packager) for iPad. I would like tracking some informations in my app so is it possible to embed Google Analytics library for Flash (.swc) in my packaged app ?
otherwise are there alternatives ways ?
Note: Currently, Flash tracking is available for any Flash content embedded in a web page. Tracking of data sent from Adobe Air, Shockwave, or via the Flash IDE (e.g. using Test Movie) is not supported at this time.
got this from https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/other/flashTrackingIntro
I am having better luck with this alternative native extension (ANE) for iOS and Android:
https://github.com/alebianco/ANE-Google-Analytics
GAForFlash (http://code.google.com/p/gaforflash/) v1.0.1.319 did work for me when compiling with AIR and running in ADL on Windows, but seems to work intermittently when compiling and running it on an Android or iOS device. The visual debug feedback reports it always sending correctly, but half the time GA never receives the data.
Both solutions can send both pageViews and events, but neither (currently) works with the new mobile app GA profiles so you need to use a classic web profile.
It is possible. I have it running in my pure AS3 AIR project for mobile.
See http://code.google.com/p/gaforflash/ there is a swc you can use there.
How to make support for both App World and the application being embedded?
What is the difference between OTA and App World?
If I will build applications for the web and will put a link to the Internet (eg via apache)
It will be OTA ?
How much is the official service OTA or App World?
Please give references for which I can read this issue.
OTA means "Over The Air". There are several ways of getting the app code installed on a BB device. One way is via USB cable + BB DesktopManager app, for instance. When you are talking about OTA and App World as if they are different things - this is not correct. The fact is to get an app from the App World you'll have to use OTA implicitly (you'll start the BB browser, it will make a remote request to RIM server, etc. - this means OTA is used).
I believe there is no difference on how AppWorld and your custom server would do this.
RIM provides a video tutorial on this:

I am going to be developing a web version of a website in .NET and would like to test it out as it would appear on a Blackberry. Is there an emulator for Windows that I can use to do this?
BlackBerry Simulator
You will also need an MDS services simulator to connect to internet with your simulator
You can download emulators or a VS plugin from Blackberry. I used one of the emulators three or four years ago on a project and it worked fine, no experience with the plugin.
