I am new to blackberry and I am developing an app.
Suddenly it does not show any changes in the simulator as i change my code.
My cod file size 256 kb.
What should i do to correct this problem?
As I add new class to it, jar and other files get automatically deleted.

had anyone see this issue, not able to publish to app store.
tried everything re-doing the icons, asset catalog, used mac machine, etc
any suggestions?
You are missing a required image on your iOS project. In order to verify this:
Open your iOS project in Visual Studio,
And most likely inside the Resources folder, you will see the Images.xcassets.
When you open that, you will see "AppIcon" on the top.
Open that and you will see several empty slots. If you hover over them, they will tell you what dimensions are needed.
Drag and drop two pictures in the empty location that is required and it should fill up as shown in the picture below:
Most likely, you are missing the iPhone Spotlight 3x or iPhone App 2x image.

My published app stopped working after xcode upgrade. My Xcode version is now 9.0.1. Publishing goes well except an error in the last stop of upload "Missing app store icon. ios apps must include a 1024x1024px app store icon in png format."
but the app quits without throwing any errors on the device. The interesting thing is that it works ok when I attach the device to my mac and runs the application. Doesn't show any errors. Please let me know how can I troubleshoot this issue?
its simple just add an icon of size 1024x1024 to your app icons folder or xcassets file whatever way you have chosen for your icons
Finally I was able to publish the app correctly. It was a mistake in renaming the app. I created a new cordova project with the new name and copied the existing code to the www directory. Now everything works ok.
I use alternate app icons in my app (which is currently in the App Store). Since upgrading to Xcode 9, I get errors when submitting to the App Store (see screenshots). The alternate icon works properly when running on the simulator/device.
The main app icon is included in the Asset catalog, and the alternate icon is added directly to the project (which I needed to do to get it to work in Xcode 8.3). I've double checked that all the alternate app icon files are part of the app target.
I'm also getting some errors regarding missing required app icon files, which seems suspicious since they're all there as far as I can tell.
I'm using Xcode Server to create my builds, and submitting to the App Store from the integration results page.
Please let me know if you need any other information to help me solve this issue.
EDIT: I created an archive manually using Xcode, and that archive was accepted. Looks like this is an issue with archives created by Xcode Server.
i am Android developer, i just started to learn about Blackberry Application Development. i want to ask you something about Application and Signing keys.
I have downloaded 3 signed keys (*.csi) files. and i have installed it and added in first demo application to run app on real device. it is working and running fine in real device.
now i have created second demo application, it is also working well in simulator. but when i am trying to launch it in real device. it is loaded/installed successfully but when i am tapping on icon or trying to open application. it is not opening/running on device.
in second project, i tried by right click on project > Blackberry > Sign With Signature Tool. but it is signing only two files while in my first demo application it is signing 3 files.
also it is not generating .csl file in second application.
Please help me.. Thanks in Advance..
Ajay, will you describe your exect problem actually no of signing the file depends how many .cod file are there in your build ( You can check it by rename your .cod file and change its extension by zip and then extract it)
for more detail regarding the BlackBerry app signing process you can follow these steps.
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Testing-and-Deployment/BlackBerry-Applications-and-code-signing-Start-to-Finish/ta-p/445848
There are cod files which require signing and some others are optional. Once all the signatures are correctly added, then the *.cod and *.jad can be copied.
Now *.cod can be extracted by renaming the same to *.zip. By extracting the zip file along with the *.jad the same can be used to download to blackberry devices. If this is directly uploaded to blackberry device through USB, then *.cod, *.jad and *.alx can be copied and used , no need to extract the *.cod
How to Run two instance of BlackBerry simulator in windows eclipse?
The documentation regarding developing with BlackBerry Messenger indicates that you can run two simulators at once, at least with the simulators that come bundled with the BBM SDK.
You cannot. If you try, you will get an error message saying only one simulator can run at a time.
What you need to do is:
Install the blackberry eclipse plugins twice and make two
workspace of each eclipse.
Run the two simulators in each eclipse and error like "could not
open port 19780 and it is use by another program....." will pop
out in one of your simulator.
So made the changes in pin,
data-port values in .bat files, rimpublic.property files inside
MDS and fledge-settings.conf in one of your simulator... but this
changes will not be reflected on your eclipse.
So what you need to do is, when you click the debug configuration from your
eclipse, you will see the simulator option there. So, click the simulator and change the PIN value, whatever you have made the changes in .bat files.. and just after that in the simulator you will again find the option of network, there unselect the disable registration button...once all this changes is made click apply and restart your eclipse... this will surely solved your problem
